Meet our athletes

Our Seattle-based pro runners specialize in distances from the 800m to the 5,000m. The Beasts are led by Coach Danny Mackey and include athletes representing nations around the world.

For over 20 years, brothers Keith and Kevin Hanson have helped nurture American distance running through the Hansons-Brooks Original Distance Project (ODP). Their mission: give talented runners the tools, training, and camaraderie they need to compete with the best.

Formed in 2021, this team of Latinx women works to build better communities and inspire youth by championing representation in the sport. Team members include women who ran at the US Olympic marathon trials as well as those celebrating their first-time marathon finishes.

Aside from teams, Brooks also sponsors individual athletes who stand out for their character off the run as well as their smoking-fast times. Our current roster of Mavericks include marathon champ Des Linden and world-record setter CJ Albertson.
