Comments about Essential Run Vest:
Love this vest, but the ipod pocket is the worst. After doing a 14-miler with my shuffle in the mesh pocket, the sides of my ipod chaffed against my body. That's my only qualm with this product. Make sure your shorts have pockets! :)

Comments about Essential Run Vest:
Me: 5'2", 120 lbs, 34C, runner
I purchased this vest for my evening winter runs, with my main concern being visibility. I went with the white in size small.
Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase. I get overheated easily and didn't want a full jacket; the vest takes the edge off the cold and wind without making me too hot. There are plenty of pockets that are relatively easy to access while running for stashing keys, tissues, gloves, or gels. I feel that I am very visible to cars (probably feel a little TOO confident, actually).
Fit wise, it's a tiny bit big on me but that's fine as can layer as much as I want to underneath. As a petite girl it hits me mid to lower hip but I expect most things to fit this way so it's not a big deal to me.
The only negative thing I can say is that I'm not a big fan of the black pattern/design on the lower right quadrant and behind the zipper (you can't see this in the photos) and that the multitude of zippers and pulls make a lot of noise as you are running.

Comments about Essential Run Vest:
I never thought a vest would be useful for running, but this vest is my go-to item for all cool, wet or windy days. The nightlife color makes me visible, the pockets are roomy and the fleece at the top of the zipper is soft on my neck.
I prefer a roomier fit so I can wear heavierweight shirts underneath, so I went up a size and am pleased with the fit. The vest is long enough so I can run and bike in it and my skin is not exposed to the wind.

Comments about Essential Run Vest:
Vest feels a bit snug for an XL. Other than that, I love the functionality of this vest. I run in wet weather, but not always cold. This is a great in between piece. The pink is a beautiful color!

Comments about Essential Run Vest:
Love this vest! We get a lot of rain around here, so I wear this vest on drizzly autumn days. It keeps my core warm without overheating, and it fits really comfortably. I also like having the pockets to tuck my gloves in after I warm up a little. Plus it's cute enough that I throw it on for bike rides to the store.

Comments about Essential Run Vest:
I bought this vest from a store and as soon as I got home I noticed the zipper on the pocket was stuck. The zipper wasn't sewn on properly and it kept falling off the track. When I went to exchange it, the other vests all had loose threads or poorly sewn on zippers as well. I really like this vest and wanted to use it for running and cycling, but I ended up returning it. The fit was a bit off also, the small was tight across the chest and loose at the waist. I have broad shoulder and it felt a bit snug.

Comments about Essential Run Vest:
Used this for a 50 degree marathon in the rain (pouring rain). Helped to keep my core warm and nice to have extra pockets however I did feel the zipper pull strings were a little too long. It makes it easier to open the pocket but there was no place to tuck the extra length so they flop around on both sides. Seems trivial but when you're running in something for 26.2 miles, those little things can become big annoyances. Otherwise, the vest is great for cool, rainy running. Large arm openings to reduce chafing. Smaller in the bust area if you happen to have a large bust.
All in all, a great running vest!
