Got this tank in both white and powder blue and love them both! They are very sheer, but the intention of this product is to wear over a sports bra and give coverage yet giving you a next-to-nothing feel when wearing. Wish I had this for the Boston Marathon on 4/16/12 as it would have been perfect for the heat. This will be my go-to hot hot hot weather tank(s)!

The item was much too sheer. I expected to wear it with a sports bra underneath for modesty, but you could see right thru it. I'd have to wear another tank underneath, which wasn't the plan I had in mind. I felt like I was wearing a soccer pinny or visibility gear, rather than a stylish top.

Love this top! Great for layering and changing the look of an outfit! Right now I'm wearing two for the layered look. This will be fantastic over a sports bra this summer when it's hot. Yes, they are see thru - that's why you pair it with a cute sports bra! I chose a small since I wanted a more snug fit - I generally waver between a small and medium in tops from Brooks.

With marathons and triathlons always on my calendar I am always seeking an easy fit, breathable, and fun top for training/racing days. This is it! I love the bright color selection and layer with some of my supportive and bright sports bras for a breathable and barely there feel and look. Wearing it in the DC marathon tomorrow!

Although I do agree that you should go down one size when ordering, I have to say that I love this top! It has extra length at the bottom that most Brooks tops lack. The light small mesh fabric is great for warm weather and great for layering under a jacket for the mild Seattle weather. Keeps me comfortable when running and allows for range of motion during yoga. I love it! Im ordering a few in different colors.

I have a completely different opinion than the previous reviewer. I love this top, it's just what I expected: a light, breezy, barely-there tank to wear over my sports bra when I don't want to completely expose my belly. It fits loosely, but that's what I would expect for a warm weather tank. The fabric is extremely thin and there is no extra bulk from traditional hemming. This piece is definitely made to wear over a sports bra.

I love my Brooks gear! & RARELY do I find a product that I don't absolutely love. However, I was a little bummed when I tried on this shirt. I ordered the pink color, which is more like a mango peach color (if that's a color?) But what disappointed me was that the shirt is 100 percent see through. It is complete mesh. I think this is my fault, because maybe I didn't read the description thoroughly. The cut is also strange- it doesn't look too much like a typical racer tank. The arm holes are really wide, and unflattering. HOWEVER- I will hang on to this tank, because regardless of how it looks: I'm betting it will perform REALLY well during a 100 degree run this summer. It is extremely lightweight, I just won't look in the mirror closely before I go out for the run ;).

Let me start by saying that I own a LOT of Brooks clothing and usaully order an XL because I like things a little loose but when I tried this top on with the D'lite Mesh Tank Flower Check they were gigantic!!! The arm holes are crazy large. I don't think that he quality doesn't meet Brooks normal standards either. I would say that you might want to down size but I don't know how far down. I'm returning them, and will probably try a large and hope for the best.
