Designed from the ground up, the Cascadia 7 defines what a trail shoe should be: rugged without sacrificing runnability. Infused with Brooks technology and a bit of insight from ultrarunner Scott Jurek, this amazing piece of equipment features an asymmetric upper that anatomically wraps the foot with conforming materials, a ballistic rock shield and toe protector for dicey terrain, and four-point pivot posts that act like a suspension system for your feet. Top it off with an intuitive lug pattern and this trailblazer is ready to tackle even the toughest terrain.

Trying to replace my totally rad pair of Cascadia (brown/aqua) I use all day every day on the street when in Honolulu (have home) on my mt bike. I just love these but wearing out. I bought a pair of Ravenna 3 (gray/lime) and these are nice overall shoe but not what I would prefer to wear riding on street. Need superb traction. I went to (X) and was sure they had the "other"color of the shoe I was looking for so I had them locate another Cascadia 7 (green/cayene/anth/blk) at Southcenter (far out of my way) only to find the same color and told this WAS the color. I was shocked! This super bold harsh colors were nothing like the soft tones represented on the website. This is the reason I returned them. It makes me feel sad because I really wanted a Brooks. If you can recommend another shoe I will gladly try them. Thank you.

I have ran in the Cascadia 4's and 5's, and now the 7's. I just used them for at least 50 miles, in a 150 mile trail ultra, that was muddy the whole way. Even caked in mud, they never felt heavy, and even though they got water logged, somehow the shoe managed to expel all the excess water rather quickly. I had to pull the laces extra tight to make sure they shoes didn't get sucked off in the sticky ankle deep mud, and not once did I ever feel the pressure along the top of my feet from the laces. Unfortunately, my crew put these shoes too close to the fire and melted the back of the heel a bit, and I didn't even notice! It didn't seem to affect their performance at all! These shoes can take one heck of a beating.

I have a slightly wide toe box, and my previous running shoes (New Balance) gave me a callus and moderate foot pain. Within a week of switching to the Cascadia 7, my foot pain started to decrease. It's now been a month, and my foot pain (and the callus) is completely gone. I run 40mi/week on varying terrain (trail, road, gym). These shoes can handle all terrain with the greatest of comfort and ease, though the incredible traction means that they really shine on the trails. The Cascadia 7 has just the right amount of cushioning. You'll feel like you're running on a cloud, comfortable but not weighted down. The design of the shoe is cute and yet unique, so you'll look stylish AND be comfortable. It's the best of both worlds! I'm so in love with these shoes that I've already ordered another pair to replace the others when I've finally worn them out! Thanks, Brooks!

In general, this is a great shoe. I've been wearing Cascadia's for a few generations now, and many improvements have been made from the 6. I really like the off-center lacing (follows the contour of the foot better) and the snug fit around the mid foot with room in the toe box is great. My only complaint is that with improved durability in the tread, they've lost some of the traction. I run quite a bit on trails, and these slip a bit more on the rocks and roots than the others I've had. However, I still love them and remain a loyal Brooks fan!

I workout 3-4 times a week at a gym and take my boxers on casual walks through the neighborhood. I love this shoe. I bought my first style of this shoe 3 years ago and still wear them at work, Im a nurse. This style is so lightweight and roomy for my feet to have natural placement. The only setback i have considered is getting extra cushioning insoles.

I was excited about the new lacing system on these but they are WAY too narrow and tight aroung mid to front of foot. Also, the seam hits bone on big toe when flexing. OUCH! I have worn Cascadia's for years and these are going back. I do long distance mountain running.

This is my second pair of Brooks and I absolutely LOVE them. The moment I tried them on, they fit like a glove. The cushioning is just enough to make them comfortable and lessen the impact when walking/jogging and the off-center laces and vibrant blue color make them one-of-a-kind :)

Love these shoes! These are the first pair of Brooks I have bought and now will never buy any other pair. They do not have to much cushion which I love!

This is my third generation Cascadia and it's the best yet! I really liked the improvements in fit (seems to have a slightly wider fit in the toe) along but otherwise is exactly what I expected the Cascadia to be. I run 5-6 times per week between 5 and 15 miles per run and the Cascadia doesn't let me down!
Note: I have recommended this style to friends and they are also very very happy.
