I've been running in Adrenalines since I got serious, about five years ago, after decades of shorter distances and solo running. I bought a pair initially to deal with plantar fasciitis, and have not been bothered since then. Last year my GTS 11 shoes took me to PRs at eight miles, half-marathon, and marathon distances. I just bought a pair of GTS 12 shoes, to wear them in before the Philadelphia Marathon, in three weeks. They had their first run yesterday, a twenty-miler with some hills. I was delighted with their feel, spring, and road grip and was completely comfortable at the end of the run.

I like the the upper and the styling of the Adrenaline GTS 12, and the same comfortable fit as the GTS 11 is certainly there. But, the 12th edition just doesn't have the same great ride as I have enjoyed over many miles with the 11th edition of the Adrenaline. The cushioning of the 12th edition definitely feels firmer to me, and the shoe is not as flexible. I actually get a bit of soreness on the bottom of my heels after my longest runs. Don't get me wrong, I still like the GTS 12 and think its a good shoe, but for me it's not a great shoe like the GTS 11. Folks who like a really firm stability shoe I think will really like the GTS 12. As for me, I am keeping my pair of the GTS 12s and will continue to run in them, but I'm stocking up on the GTS 11s!

I have never enjoyed a product enough to write a review for it, untill i bought these shoes. i was running in the Adrenaline GTS 12 since the new year and recently switched to the PureCadence. They are lighter, more comfortable, and still offer all the support i need. the only change i made to the shoes was throwing a pair of Yankz on them, which i highly recomend as well.

The 11th version were fantastic but Brooks took a step back with this new edition. The 12th version are stif and lack cushioning. The feel is too firm for my feet. The 11´s were fantastic right out of the box, and with the 12´s my feet ache after every run (even really short ones). I dont know what happened but Brooks really missed the mark with these. I can just hope they fix this for the 13th version or I am switching to Asics or something else.

I've run primarily in Brooks Adrenalines since 2009. I first had the 9s, and when it was time to replace those, the 11s had come out. I liked the 9s, but the 11s were amazing. For this reason, I had high expectations for the 12s. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met. Don't get me wrong, it's a good model, but it didn't fit my feet as well as the 11s. They also felt a little heavier than the 11s, and a little heavier than I'd like.

Been running in Nike and recently in Asics Kayano, this is however the best running shoe I have tried to date. A bit more narrow than Kayano in the front which is good for me and a little less drop from heel to toe. Feels much lighter than it is, probably because it fits very good. Will never try anything else.

I'm not a runner. I am on my feet all day at work, though. A few months ago I got a pair of Brooks running shoes (Defyance) and they were the most comfortable shoes ever. They solved knee and heel problems I've had for years. The only problem was that I can only wear all black sneakers to work and they only come in blue/grey. So, I went online and ordered the Adrenaline GTS 12. They are definitely more comfortable and offer more support than the average sneaker but not quite as good as the Defyance. I'm sure it's a great running shoe but for my needs, I'll stick with the Defyance.

This is first pair of Brooks shoes I have owned and I am truly amazed by them. There are only 17 miles on the shoes and they only seem to improve the more I wear them. If I have any complaints, they have to do with the cushioning and the heel fit. The complaints are minor and may be a result of just breaking them in, hence the five stars. The shoes feel incredibly light, yet provide the pronation control they promise.

I am a larger guy so often I find it hard to find a shoe that can take the pounding that my body puts on it. These shoes cushion great and are very comfortable. I have noticed less knee and ankle pain also. I would highly recomend this for someone who needs the cushioning. This is my third pair of brooks and as long as they keep it up I will keep coming back.
