This jacket kept me warm all winter. I had runs in the single digits to 40 degrees (all windchill values) and this jacket did great. No problems with the wind and didn't need a much underneath (except the single digit days). I'm not sure how they did it, but it resists wind and rain and still wicked the sweat away. I highly recommend this jacket.

Overall I'm pleased with this jacket and how it has responded to the elements. I've used the jacket several times on the trail, the most recent was this past weekend on a two hour trail run in the low 30's. The jacket handles the wind and the cold. I live in the mid Atlantic region, so cold at the moment is 20's - 30's. I do not know how the jacket would handle the water elements.

The fit of the jacket is perfect and the weight is light enough for a winter running jacket. I would recommend this jacket especially if you live in colder environments.

One improvement I would recommend would be some type of arm pit zipper on this jacket. I think this would improve ventilation. I have taken it out on 60 - 90 minute runs on wicked cold windy days, but the jacket gets a little too toasty between the sun and the body heat. I think arm pit zippers would help resolve this issue.

Overall I think this jacket is a winner.

I would only recommend wearing this to run in temperatures under 20 degrees or in windy days. I love it as causal wear and use it all the time.

First of all, just want to say that I love the jacket. It feels like a well-constructed and well-thought out piece. It keeps me plenty warm. I live in SW Michigan and get the whole "lake effect" snow, which means things get pretty chilly here. I've run in the 20's here with a t-shirt, really thing mid-layer and this jacket. I actually started to get quite warm and had to open the jacket almost all the way. I ran this morning in the 30's with just a t-shirt and the jacket and felt fine. Felt good.

I've also run when there's light snow and rain falling and it did really well at repelling it.

Here's my only complaint--the media pocket over the chest. It's tiny!! I guess it's made to hold an iPod nano or some other tiny media device. If you have an iPhone you're out of luck. It will not fit at all. So....I don't know..it just seems kinda lame in that sense....and disappointing. If that were to make that pocket bigger--enough to fit an iPhone, it would be the jacket to rule all others.

I am an avid runner that also does a lot of weight training. Because of the combination I have trouble finding gear that fits well along the chest and shoulder but does not make me look like a bell, wide at the waist. This jacket is perfect on the shoulders and still slimming along the waist/trunk.

Wore this coat the other day when it was very windy and the wind chill was about 17 degrees. Kept me warm (after I got going) without a lot of weight. Love it so far..

This is a very warm jacket, I would only wear it to run below 20 degrees with a single base layer. The outer material is stretchable and seems to repel water well (I have not tried it for extended periods of time in a precipitation event). I really like the extended inner sleeve with thumb hole and hand-wrap "mitten".

I absolutely love this jacket and I wear it every day. I only run in it when it is very cold out or cold and rainy but it works great for those conditions! My only problem with this jacket is that the media pocket is way to small for my iPhone. I use the runkeeper app so my phone goes along on every run and it would be nice if it actually fit in the pocket that was designed for that purpose.

It is nice to hear how good you look when you wear this jacket. It fits and feels great to wear everywhere. I purchased online and have not seen anyone else with one but feel this will be short lived.
