can women wear the men’s shoes? I prefer the men’s colors better, is there a huge difference in men’s vs women’s in the glycerin gts?

Hi Chelsea! Women's size 8.5 and up is convertible to men's sizing in our lineup. The models will be the same, you'll just need to convert your size! We recommend going by the description of the width (i.e. narrow, medium, wide, extra-wide) as opposed to the letter designation (i.e. 2A, B, D, 2E, 4E) when converting between men's and women's width sizing. A men's medium (D) width should fit the same as a women's medium (B) width. The conversion in sizing for length is 1.5 sizes. For example, a men's size 9D is equivalent to a women's size 10.5B.

Hi Bret! We recommend avoiding washing machines and (especially) dryers, but you can hand wash your shoes. Here are some tips as well as a link to an article that goes in greater depth: 1. Brush the bottom of your shoes to remove as much mud and dirt as possible. 2. Remove the shoelaces. 3. Gently use a damp cloth or brush to clean the uppers. 4. Rinse with warm water. 5. Remove the insoles and clean and dry them separately. 6. Stuff your shoes with newspaper. This helps them maintain shape and decreases drying time. Went for fist run in these. My soles of my feet and especially my heel felt kinda tingly to burning sensation. Is this because of me using my first pair of GTS and it’s correcting my stride? Or possibly just the break in period?

The sensations you described while using the Glycerin GTS 20 can certainly be related to this being your first pair of shoes with the GuideRail support system and getting used to a new shoe in general. We recommend trying them out for a few more runs, and if you are still experiencing the same issues, you can always take advantage of our Run Happy Promise to find the best fit for you. there is no information on the difference between gts & non gts. what is the difference?

Hi! Neutral (non-GTS) and GTS refer to the support in the shoe. The GTS version has our GuideRail support system, which is intended to help support runners who overpronate (feet/ankles roll inward). We recommend the neutral model if you do not overpronate.

The Glycerin GTS 20 in size 10.5 seem to fit longer than my previous pair of Glyderin 18's. I tried on size 10 and it was noticeablly shorter and fit better. What's up with the fit?

Hi Matt! While we attempt to stay as consistent with sizing as possible, sometimes there can be discrepancies when models are updated. We are glad to hear you found a better fit!

Is the size 10 in the Glycerin GTS 20 the same length as the Adrenaline 22? With the Adrenaline I go 1/2 size up from my street shoe.

Hi Tom! The Adrenaline GTS 22 and Glycerin GTS 20 should be approximately the same length, so we would recommend you purchase the same size in the Glycerin GTS 20 as you do in the Adrenaline GTS 22.

The best shoe for men over 350 lbs?

Hi Jerome! All of our models, including the Glycerin GTS 20, are options for men over 350 lbs. The Glycerin GTS 20 is our softest, most-cushioned support shoe. Another option to consider may be the Beast '20, which is our max cushioned max support shoe. Support and max support shoes are best for people who overpronate - their feet and/or ankles roll inward as they walk and/or run.

Are they for flat feet?

Hi Edilia! All of our shoes, including the Glycerin GTS 20, have the same arch height and arch support. Our shoe styles in our inventory are split into 2 sections, Neutral and Support. The support in running shoes is different than the support of insoles or orthotics. Our Support styles include our GuideRails technology, which supports your whole body in its natural stride while keeping excess movement in check. Insoles or orthotics give you support directly under the arch. Our sock-liners are removable so that you can input your own insole or orthotic to achieve personalized arch support.

Hi Joel! The Glycerin GTS 20 features a plush and breathable engineered air mesh upper, offering a secure fit, comfortably holding the foot in place. It is not waterproof.
