Will you be getting the wide shoe available in 10 1/2 in the color 711?

Hi Kyle! Color 711 is only produced in a Medium width. Colors 774 and 018 are both produced in Wide widths.

Are brooks wider than normal shoes?

I wear a 9.5 in men’s shoe, which are not available in the Texas shoe. Is the women’s shoe the same, just different size?? Would I wear an 11.5 in women’s?

I currently run in a brooks launch 6 and they're at the end of their life. Would it be practical to replace them with the launch 8 if I had no problems with the 6?

Is the shoe a good match for someone moving away from heel striking? I land on my forefoot.

Hi Cameron! The Launch 8 is one of our lightweight Speed styles with a 10 mm midsole drop. If you want a shoe similar to the Launch 8 with a lower drop to allow more of a forefoot strike, we recommend the Revel 4 or the Hyperion Tempo. Both of these styles live in our speed category with an 8mm midsole drop.

Is this shoe good for like someone who puts on 65+ a week for easy run training for a guy who runs the 800 and XC?
