Are they usable for cross country?

The Hyperion Elite LD will not perform well in Cross Country. We recommend shoes such as the Draft XC or Draft XC Spikeless for this sport!

Are the spikes removable?

Hi Erica. Yes, the spikes in the Hyperion Elite LD shoes are removable.

These spikes are for the distance fiends who race to the limit. The ultralight Hyperion Elite LD spikes are designed for track events from 1,500m - 10,000m, combining energy-returning cushioning with a carbon fiber plate to propel you forward. The aggressive spike design helps you get up on your toes for mid-race surges or a powerful finishing kick.

Cushion

Responsive

Light and springy cushioning that propels you forward.

Ready to dial up your race pace?

Fast & propulsive

Tuned precisely to the needs of distance runners, the full-length carbon composite SpeedVault Race Plate helps propel you forward, enabling a powerful and efficient toe-off so the energy you use translates into speed over the track.

Poised to pounce

Updated lighter & springier cushioning

New DNA FLASH v2 cushioning is optimized in this shoe for longer track events so you feel light on your feet and ready to pounce late in the race.

Tear up the track — figuratively

Lightweight, aggressive traction

Designed for long distances, the toothy 6-pin spike plate delivers grip and helps you stay aggressive when you need it most, such as mid-race surges and your finishing kick.
