Hi, you claim, that mesh is water and abrasion resistant. I would like to run in the rain and snow as well. Can you compare it with GTX or orther water resistant fabrics?

Hi Jon! The Catamount 2 features a toe cap and mud guard to protect against wet dirt, rocks, and debris for comfort and durability. The mesh will be water and abrasion resistant, however, it is not waterproof. GORE-TEX® (GTX) is a lightweight Invisible Fit waterproof membrane that’s bonded directly to the upper. If you want a true waterproof trail option, we recommend the Cascadia 16 GTX!

Are these shoes good for Achilles tendinitis?

Hi Norman! Achilles tendonitis can be tricky to solve with a single shoe as it can be quite different from person to person. Please also keep in mind that we're not doctors and any serious pain or injuries should be discussed with medical professionals.
