I have 2 pair of the Cascadia 15 trail running shoe for women. Can’t find now so I got a16 and it fits totally different. Is there another shoe you can recommend that will fit like the 15?

What's the most supportive women's trail runner? I usually run in Adrenalines. Brooks discontinued the Adrenaline trail version a few years back and I've been hoping for a replacement! Suggestions please!

Do they come in wide? I have insanely wide feet.

How are the Cascadia's with sand? My favorite trail runners are so comfy, but I have to stop to empty them out when running in the desert.

Hi Ashley! In terms of traction and support, the Cascadia 15 should perform well in sand, but the Cascadia 15 GTX may do better at preventing sand from getting in through the perforations in the mesh. Both could also be used with gaiters to prevent sand from spilling in over the ankle.

How does the support and cushioning of the Cascadia 15 compare to the Transcend 7?

Hi Laurie! The Cascadia 15 and the Transcend 7 both live in the Cushion Experience category. The support of Trail styles is different than the support of Road styles, as the surface on Trails varies and may be uneven. The Cascadia 15 is our trail style that has the Pivot Post System which provides a stable platform to adapt to any terrain. The Cascadia 15 has our BioMoGo foam in the midsole compared to the DNA LOFT foam in the Transcend 7. The Transcend 7 may feel plusher, but the Cascadia 15 has plenty of cushion for a comfortable ride.

How is this different from the gtx?

Will this shoe have good traction on winter snow and ice? I run on winter sidewalks in Minnesota.

Is the Cascadia 15 water resistant?

Hi Sara! The Cascadia 15 is not water resistant, this allows for drainage when water enters the shoes. We do make a waterproof version, check out the Cascadia 15 GTX.

does the insole removable?

Yes, all of our shoes have removable insoles.

Does the Cascadia 15 have a toe cap for running and hiking on rocky trails?

Yes, the Cascadia 15 provides protection near the toes for protection. This is great for running or hiking on rocky terrain.

Can I throw these in the washing machine?

We do not recommend using a washer or dryer machine for cleaning our shoes, as they can be too aggressive and cause the shoes to stretch or warp compromising the materials and performance of the shoe. We recommend following these directions to keep your shoes looking and performing their best. 1. Remove the internal liner and hand wash the shoes in warm water with mild soap. Make sure not to submerge or soak the shoes in water. 2. Stuff your shoes with newsprint (plain if you have it) and allow them to air dry. When they are all dried out, you can reinsert the liner and hit the road again.

Does the cadence 15 run true to size or would you recommend to size up?
