Style #120174

The new Adrenaline GTS 15 is equal parts support, cushion and balance in a stylish, high-performance package.
The GTS 15 runs slightly smaller than previous models. If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing ½ size up.

Treat yourself to the adaptive cushioning of the BioMoGo DNA midsole that responds to your run and the full-length segmented crash pad that gives you ultra-smooth heel-to-toe transition. The Progressive Diagonal Rollbar provides reassuring stability while moisture-managing materials in the upper keep you cooler and dryer when you're on the run.

DNA Midsole

What is it?

Brooks DNA is an innovative and uniquely adaptive cushioning system. By adapting to your specific weight, pace, gait and running surface, DNA offers customized cushioning and adds a spring to your step.

Traditional cushioning takes a one-size-fits-all approach, but we know that each runner is different. Brooks DNA was developed to continuously tailor the level of cushioning to your specific needs – even as they change during the run.

How does it work?

Brooks DNA is made up of a highly viscous non-Newtonian material or more simply put, a material that adapts to the specific force you apply to it. Part of the brilliance is that this compound was engineered to perform at the molecular level (picture millions of resilient 'nanosprings').

If you looked at Brooks DNA through a microscope, you'd see that it's made up of individual molecules connected in strands. These strands (which form chains) react to the amount of force placed on the foot, dispersing pressure and providing resiliency. Bottom line of this physics lesson: You get tailored cushioning that reacts to your specific weight, pace, gait, movement and running environment – "made-for-me" cushioning vs. "one size fits all."

And, as with all good technology, we’ve taken it a step further (two steps actually):

  • BioMoGo DNA is DNA technology blended with the BioMoGo midsole to provide adaptive cushioning throughout the midsole vs. just in the heel and forefoot.
  • BioMoGo DNA midsole includes an organic, non-toxic additive that biodegrades the midsole 50 times faster than traditional EVA when it comes into contact with anaerobic landfill microbes (otherwise known as active, enclosed landfills).

  • 30% more cushioning than standard midsole materials (gel or EVA)
  • Twice as much energy return for more pep in your step
  • Great performance no matter your weight or running pace
  • Smoother transition from heel to toe

Segmented Crash Pad

What is it?

The Segmented Crash Pad customizes your foot's lay-down to provide amazing cushion and smooth heel-to-toe transition throughout the run.

How does it work?

We know that a key component of maximizing your run is to provide the smoothest possible heel-to-toe transition. The Segmented Crash Pad is one technology we use to achieve this goal.

Shaped like a caterpillar, the Segmented Crash Pad is a midsole made up of independent, yet fully integrated shock absorbers. As your foot strikes the ground, the segments work together to customize your individual lay down to provide the right amount of cushion and seamless heel-to-toe transition for you – making the most of all that effort you put into each stride.

I've been a devoted fan of the Andrenaline GTS 11th edition. I haven't been happy with the successors. The 12th, 13th and 14th edition did not work for me at all. They all felt like completely different shoes. What I loved about the 11 (lightweight, excellent arch support, hugged my foot perfectly, crash pad was firm and responded well) was not there in the 12, 13 and 14s. I was delighted to find that the 15s felt similar to the 11s. I did notice that the 15s ran a bit short. I wear a size 10 but needed to bump up a 1/2 size in the new 15s. (My big toe was touching the top and side of the size 10). Unfortunately with the 1/2 size bigger there's now a bit of excess shoe that buckles when I pull the laces tight around the toe area. It didn't seem to cause any problems during my run though. Overall, they feel and ride very much like the glorious 11th edition :-) I'm very happy. I'll buy a second pair for sure!

I have been running in this shoe for over a decade! I buy about 3 pair a year and have felt so grateful that the updates always felt the same. I bought my first pair of the 2015s to train for the Boston Marathon and felt a noticeable difference. This shoes is tighter, and stiff and feels small. I gave it over 200 miles even after I felt some discomfort on a tendon in my right foot. Hoping it was just "that pair" i ordered a second pair when this shoe was close to hitting its max mileage with hopes that the pair i got was just a dud. I was having some severe pain in a speed work session with my first pair of 2015's so i pulled the new pair from the box and the pain stayed. I had an old pair of 2014's around so i finished my workout in those. I am returning my 2nd pair of 2015's and ordered 6 pair of the 2014's to get me through this year and part of next year hoping for a good update for 2016 or 2017 when i run out of the 2014s. I cannot even wear my worn out 2015's for looks because they just hurt my foot too bad :( I could be the shape of my foot not working with the changes made for the 2015 update…but i wish that you would just keep the shoe the same each year. I LOVE the colors though. And was very happy to find the 2014 in pink (although i love the teal more) when I found them at a discount price. i can run happy an cute for the next 2 years hoping for a good update in 2016 and 2017 where you take them back to where they were.

    Comments about Adrenaline GTS 15:

I have been wearing Adrenalines for about 8 years, and early on my only complaint about them was the dull colors--solid black or boring light blue. I emailed Brooks a few times over the years about giving us more options, and finally they listened! Loved the 14's color choices last year and the 15's this year! I went through four pairs in 2014, and didn't duplicate the color because of all the choices! Thank you!

        Comments about Adrenaline GTS 15:

I have been running in Brooks Adrenaline's for years (5-6yrs) and have been running competitively for some 15 years. I absolutely LOVED the GTS 13's and have gone through countless pairs. I wear a 8.5 narrow and have always had to special order them. My parents bought me the new GTS 15's for Christmas and I started running in them in early January as I was training for a half marathon in mid February. The first 2 days I noticed my foot kept hitting the end of my shoe and my toes were killing me! I took them to my local running store and they informed me that the new GTs 15's were running a 1/2 size smaller so they were kind enough to switch me out to a 9 narrow. So I didn't think anything about it, switched them out, and continued training for the half. A couple weeks later, the top of my foot was killing me after a 10 mile long run and the shoe caused horrible abrasion on the top of my right foot to the point I couldn't even put my foot in the shoe. It set me back in my training for a good 2 weeks! I went back to my local running store and they were very helpful in getting me into another shoe prior to my race.

All that to say, Brooks I loved the Adrenaline GTS 13's in my normal size of 8.5 narrow! Why did you have to change them?? Can anyone give me a recommendation on what shoes I can run in now? Are GTS 14's like the 13"s?

                Comments about Adrenaline GTS 15:

I've been in the Brooks Adrenaline series for six years and these have been the first pair that just don't work for me. Luckily I heard that these run a little small so I went ahead and ordered a half size up and they fit well in the store. My first few runs in them felt okay but I noticed that my feet slide around a lot more in the toe box and recently they've been rubbing the top of my foot weird and causing a substantial amount of pain. I normally go through 4 pairs of the shoe each year but this will be my one and only pair of the 15. I'm hoping I can find a good stability shoe from Mizuno or Asics because these sure did miss the mark.
