$120.00 $120.00 - $130.00

Style #120174

The new Adrenaline GTS 15 women's running shoe takes equal parts support, cushion and balance, and wraps them in a stylish, high-performance package. Treat yourself to the adaptive cushioning of the BioMoGo DNA midsole that responds to your run and the full-length segmented crash pad that gives you ultra-smooth heel-to-toe transition. The Progressive Diagonal Rollbar provides reassuring stability while moisture-managing materials in the upper keep you cooler and dryer when you're on the run.

The Adrenaline GTS 15 runs slightly smaller than previous models. If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing ½ size up.

DNA Midsole

What is it?

Brooks DNA is an innovative and uniquely adaptive cushioning system. By adapting to your specific weight, pace, gait and running surface, DNA offers customized cushioning and adds a spring to your step.

Traditional cushioning takes a one-size-fits-all approach, but we know that each runner is different. Brooks DNA was developed to continuously tailor the level of cushioning to your specific needs – even as they change during the run.

How does it work?

Brooks DNA is made up of a highly viscous non-Newtonian material or more simply put, a material that adapts to the specific force you apply to it. Part of the brilliance is that this compound was engineered to perform at the molecular level (picture millions of resilient 'nanosprings').

If you looked at Brooks DNA through a microscope, you'd see that it's made up of individual molecules connected in strands. These strands (which form chains) react to the amount of force placed on the foot, dispersing pressure and providing resiliency. Bottom line of this physics lesson: You get tailored cushioning that reacts to your specific weight, pace, gait, movement and running environment – "made-for-me" cushioning vs. "one size fits all."

And, as with all good technology, we’ve taken it a step further (two steps actually):

  • BioMoGo DNA is DNA technology blended with the BioMoGo midsole to provide adaptive cushioning throughout the midsole vs. just in the heel and forefoot.
  • BioMoGo DNA midsole includes an organic, non-toxic additive that biodegrades the midsole 50 times faster than traditional EVA when it comes into contact with anaerobic landfill microbes (otherwise known as active, enclosed landfills).

  • 30% more cushioning than standard midsole materials (gel or EVA)
  • Twice as much energy return for more pep in your step
  • Great performance no matter your weight or running pace
  • Smoother transition from heel to toe

Segmented Crash Pad

What is it?

The Segmented Crash Pad customizes your foot's lay-down to provide amazing cushion and smooth heel-to-toe transition throughout the run.

How does it work?

We know that a key component of maximizing your run is to provide the smoothest possible heel-to-toe transition. The Segmented Crash Pad is one technology we use to achieve this goal.

Shaped like a caterpillar, the Segmented Crash Pad is a midsole made up of independent, yet fully integrated shock absorbers. As your foot strikes the ground, the segments work together to customize your individual lay down to provide the right amount of cushion and seamless heel-to-toe transition for you – making the most of all that effort you put into each stride.

I've been a devoted fan of the Andrenaline GTS 11th edition. I haven't been happy with the successors. The 12th, 13th and 14th edition did not work for me at all. They all felt like completely different shoes. What I loved about the 11 (lightweight, excellent arch support, hugged my foot perfectly, crash pad was firm and responded well) was not there in the 12, 13 and 14s. I was delighted to find that the 15s felt similar to the 11s. I did notice that the 15s ran a bit short. I wear a size 10 but needed to bump up a 1/2 size in the new 15s. (My big toe was touching the top and side of the size 10). Unfortunately with the 1/2 size bigger there's now a bit of excess shoe that buckles when I pull the laces tight around the toe area. It didn't seem to cause any problems during my run though. Overall, they feel and ride very much like the glorious 11th edition :-) I'm very happy. I'll buy a second pair for sure!

I have been an Adrenaline wearer since version 6 (^ & 11 being my favs). I have had some that I've not really liked but could get by with...not this one. Where to begin?

First, the upper is much tighter than recent versions. The volume dimension seems to be the most noticeable pinch: I can't imagine getting orthotics in these shoes. The cushioning felt great at first, but after 6 miles the sides of my feet hurt when I stopped...like, "couldn't run the next day" hurt. I thought maybe it was the surface (trail), so I tried them again on both pavement & track. Nope, still hurt my feet badly: the sides were extremely sore & felt like they were rubbed raw.

I've never had this experience with a Brooks shoe & I'm hoping my running store will take them back & exchange for a version 14 (which apparently I'm stocking up on for next year). I still love Brooks & this shoe may work great for others. But for me it is REALLY different from the past 4 versions & a terrible upgrade for me. If this is the direction the Adrenaline is going I may need to look for a new shoe. I'm really disappointed.

Comments about Adrenaline GTS 15:

I specifically wanted the solid black one so I can wear it to work as well as on hikes. But it doesn't fit me well. I have pretty long toes and usually a size 8 works for my feet. The size 8 of this GTS 15 was too small so that my third was pressed too much. The size 8.5 was a little too big as there was too much movement of my feet. The GTS 14s fit me better at a size 8 but I guess I'm going to have to look elsewhere for future shoes :\

    Comments about Adrenaline GTS 15:

I was very happy to find this shoe in a women's size 13! I purchased the medium width because I wear orthotics and need extra room for the inserts. I normally would wear the narrow. The toe box on a medium is a bit wide for a narrow foot, but I am still happy with the shoes because I am able to put the inserts in them.
The foot that does not need the orthotic is very happy with just the support provided.

Only drawback is that if your foot is not straight or does not curve toward the inside (like a normal foot) and it turns out a bit your foot will fight the shape of the arch and toe box. It's fatiguing to the foot that needs the extra help. But the support and light weight are worth a little discomfort.

    Comments about Adrenaline GTS 15:

I run around 30 miles a week and the Adrenaline's have been the best fit shoe for me for most of the 15 years I've been running. There may have been a couple of periods when versions didn't work well for me and the 15 is one of them. The show is uncomfortable and stiff from the get go compared to previous versions and a little tighter in the toe box which might force someone to go to a wide version. Something about the placement of the tongue is also uncomfortable on my foot. All around I'm disappointed in the newest version.

Both of my big toes rub on the inside plastic piping on the shoe causing blisters where I have NEVER had in other shoes. I'm putting up with it because I love the shoe but wish the design would eliminate the hard piping.(sorry not sure what it is called)
