On a quest for a new PR for any distance up to the half marathon? The T6 Racer will go the distance with you. The shoe weighs next to nothing, feels like an extension of your foot, and provides the perfect amount of protection. Mission accomplished.
Available in men's sizes only. (For women we suggest ordering 1.5 sizes smaller than what you usually wear).
Note: As this shoe is a very lightweight, minimal support racing flat, the vast majority of runners will not find it “enough shoe” for a full marathon. If you have a light frame and a biomechanically efficient stride, however, you may be able to get away with it. We suggest you work up to it in several half marathon-plus races beforehand to see how it works for you before running in it for a full marathon.

I run 25-60 miles a week at varying speeds and distances in these shoes full time. I'm absolutely in love with the fit and the minimalist feel.
My only complaint is that the mesh on the toebox has come apart after 250-300 miles for the last couple pairs.

I normally buy racing flat just for that purpose only, enough protection for half, 9 1/2 a bit snug, size 10 would have been to large for left foot being little smaller than right compensate with thin socks.
Comparison to my 4oz racing flat... heel height and 6oz weight was much preferable to my stride
for road racing, use my 4oz racing flat for track workout

I'm a AG triathlete competing Olympic to Half Ironman distance. This shoe is by far the BEST shoe I have EVER owned. I have been running track and field and long distance races for 30+ years and have NEVEr found a shoe that performs EXACTLY the way I expect it to. To my disappointment, Brooks has discontinued the Red/Black T6 racer replacing it with a "stabilizer added" T7 . I think providing the T7 as an alternative to the T6 is fine BUT WHY oh WHY discontinue a shoe that is NOT only popular, but so in demand by so many of my triathlon friends. Please recognize this shoe is in now way designed for daily road or trail training. this perfect 6oz shoe is strictly for racing, no wonder some of the other reviews complain of it "falling apart" it was designed for racing.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE RED/BLACK 6oz T6 RACER in size 8.5.... I will buy 5 pair.

I have run 1/2 marathon in these w/o any problem at all. Excellent for consistent 8 mile & under training runs sockless. I own 2 pair...one for training and the other as my Tri racing shoe. Best pair of running shoes that I have ever owned.

Great shoe so far. Love the light weight feel. Good fit and good look. As mentioned, not much in the way of support...definitely should be a mid-foot striker. I would think this shoe might be problematic for heavier runners, over-pronators, or heel-strikers. I have my doubts about the longevity/durability of the shoe - not much rubber on the bottom, but ought to last until worn out due to mileage.
