I love this running skirt. The shorts underneath did not ride up, even during my 10 mile run. The length is perfect, mid thigh (I'm 5'4"). The material is very lightweight and moves with you.
My only complaint is the lack of drawstring. I love the wide waistband but I prefer the security of having a drawstring to make sure it stays up.

These shorts are mostly perfect, but I find the elastic on the legs a tad too tight. This gets very uncomfortable after mile 1. I know I have big thighs, but I was really hoping these woudl work after reading the reviews. I do love the look and feel of them, and I will wear them for anything besides distance running, at least until my thighs get smaller.

Comments about Glycerin Skort:
I bought this for my Half marathon race - everything was great about it for the run itself. However, I washed it after the race (the only time I had worn it) and the seams came undone. Now I cannot wear them again - pretty expensive for a one time use.

Comments about Glycerin Skort:
This is a great workout skort. The grips prevent legs from bunching or riding. The waist is comfortable fitting. The style looks great! I will wear this regularly to run in!

Comments about Glycerin Skort:
This skirt is very cute, comfortable and fun. The elastic bands on the lower legs of the inner shorts are a bit tighter than expected, but they keep the shorts from riding up and aren't so tight as to squeeze. This skirt is great from a run to the gym to the grocery store to the farmers market! Love it.

I'm not a running skirt kind of girl, but I love this skirt. I wear it a lot and even wear it around just because. It is gorgeous, comfy, and fits great!

Comments about Glycerin Skort:
"This skirt is just awesomely cute for running! And the rubber bands inside the shorts keep it from riding up which is very nice. I also pair it with some capri's for the cold weather running. The site doesn't really show the beauty of the skirt and I love the purple navy color...different and pretty. The material is very nice quality, thin very soft and stretchy but doesn't stretch out.

Comments about Glycerin Skort:
I love Brooks running apparel. This skirt is incredibly lightweight and very fashionable. The pocket in the back is great for holding keys or a music device. And, the additional pocket on the shorts is great for holding things that you need to access more easily/quickly, such as energy supplements. Overall, this is a great skirt.
My only complaint: The shorts are a little too short for someone with thick thighs, like mine. On that same note, the elastic band around the leg of the shorts is a little tight and can be uncomfortable for gals with big legs as well. (I'm a size 6-8, and ordered a size M skirt.) For these reasons, I find that this skirt works best for short distance runs rather than long runs.

This skirt looks and fits great! My only wish is that there was another pocket on the left and maybe to make the pockets slightly larger.

Comments about Glycerin Skort:
I just bought my THIRD Glycerin skirt. I bought my first one at a local running store about three weeks ago. I have been in the market for a running skirt for a while but I HATE purchasing clothing online unless I have tried it on in real life.
I am a little over 5'3, ~125 lbs, I have a small waist, larger hips, rear, and thighs. This is why I love this skirt. The silicone grippers are the BEST. The shorts are a bit tight around my thighs but I feel that is a good thing since that helps the shorts stay down.
This slits on the side are perfect for a 'flowy' look. I feel this is very flattering style.
I usually run my races in running tights since I don't like the feeling of my running shorts riding up. the thick banded waistline is wonderful. Those who are a little heavier on top may wish to get a larger size. my skirts are size Small. They fit my waist perfectly BUT I have a small waist compared to my lower half.
This skirt is/ was on sale when I bought it online. I got it for the same price as my super colorful running shorts from that other running company.
ALSO, since I'm sure you will buy this(you are silly not to), check your skirt out before you rip your tags off with excitement. Brooks puts out a good quality product, but we all know 'stuff happens'. My second skirt has a hole in the shorts where the mesh meets to crotch triangle cotton part. I happened to tear the tags off right before i noticed. The hole has not expanded so I am not too worried.
