Combining BioMoGo cushioning with a mild support post, the smart, adaptive Ravenna meets your changing needs. Some runs demand more support than others, so the Ravenna provides just the right amount, when and where you need it. Hardworking feet swell after a long flight or day at work. Extra adjustability in the Ravenna’s upper means more instep variability for a perfect fit, every day. Brilliant.

I run quite a bit (roughly 30+ miles/week) and strength train 2-4 days a week as well. I go through shoes very quickly, so needless to say I'm always looking for 'that perfect shoe'. While I think there will always be things that you can find wrong with a shoe, for the most part, this is a great running shoe. Due to very flexible joints, I over and under pronate while I run. Because of this, I have orthotics for motion control. The best piece of advice I can give to someone with orthotics - don't put yourself in a stiff motion control shoe! I did this for years and ended up running sore and in discomfort because I had way too much 'support' and not enough cushion/shock control. Let your orthotics do the controlling and find a shoe that will cushion and be lightweight. I really love this shoe for those reasons. I'm looking forward to running in these shoes this weekend for the Breast Cancer marathon! Happy running to all.

I took these for a short 3 mi, then another 4 mi run, and did not have a good experience. I run in the infinite 2 now, but gave these a try, because they are supposed be comparable. They were much too small in the toe box, and actually made my feet numb after a couple of miles. These in no way could replace my infinites!!

Comments about Ravenna:
Fifth pair of these for running a/b 20 miles per week. They seem to run small as I get a 7.5 but usually wear a size 6 in regular (non-running) shoes. Seem to wear out sooner than 300 miles though.

Comments about Ravenna:
This is my fourth pair of Ravennas. I run about 20 miles/week. However, they seem to wear out faster than I've read running shoes should last. Not sure if it's because I land on the ball to mid-part of my foot, but my last pair only lasted about four months. I have continued to buy the Ravenna and will do so until they are no longer available and I have to move to the Ravenna 2 or 3!

Comments about Ravenna:
Love this shoe! I'm currently training for a half but ran a full marathon last year...sure wish I would've had this shoe. Perfect fit, no blisters, good stability, no foot, ankle or knee pain... and it feels fast. Ordering my second pair. I also have flat feet but these give just enough stability without feeling bulky....like so many other shoes.

Comments about Ravenna:
I love these shoes! Already on my 3rd pair...I have tried many other running sneakers in the past but these are definitely the best. They provide a little stability but are still lightweight. I run about 30 miles a week so I need to replace fairly often and every pair has been great right out of the box. Be warned though I wear a size 6.5 in normal shoes and running sneakers I go up to a 7 or 7.5, in these I need a size 8. As long as you are aware of the need to go up at least one full size these are great!

Comments about Ravenna:
Sidelined from running due to plantar fasciitis and resulting heel spur. First run in these shoes and experienced no more "morning after" pain. My feet are spoiled and cry if I wear anything else. Unfortunately, they wear very quickly, but my feet love them. Buying my 4th pair!

Comments about Ravenna:
This is my third pair of this shoe which I use for running about 10-15 miles per week. I think it runs small however; I normally wear a size 6 in regular shoes or 7 in running shoes... but these I buy in a 7.5. Overall, I like this shoe a lot and it lasts me a/b 4 months before getting another pair (and I only wear them when running).

Comments about Ravenna:
I'm a beginner at running but these shoes seem pretty great. They're my first pair of running shoes and I run an average of 10-12 miles a week in them. The only con is that there are limited color choices! I like colorful shoes!!

Comments about Ravenna:
I loved the look of this shoe and of course, the Brooks name. I couldn't beat the price either, since they were on sale.
The only problem I've had is that the size runs a full size small. Luckily, I normally buy my shoes a 1/2 size larger than I wear...(darn bunion!)...so I only had to go up a 1/2 size more.
The shoe is pretty, it's cool...(in our Ohio heat and humidity)...and once you get the right size, it feels like it is made for your foot.
This is my first experience with a Brooks shoe and I will definitely make it my main brand from now on for all my running needs.

Comments about Ravenna:
This is the first time I've upgraded to a higher-end running shoe, and for the price, the Ravenna is amazing! Does not even compare to my old Avias. No need to break them in-- lightweight and comfortable right out of the box. I am a casual runner (15 miles a week) and I will be sticking to Brooks for a long time.
I would recommend buying 1/2 a size larger than your normal running shoe. I was hesitant to do this based on reviews (since I have narrow feet) but I'm glad I did. It's nice to have a little room near your toes for downhill landings.
