I've been in the new Ghost 3 for just over a month now and absolutely LOVE them!! I've worn the Brooks Adrenaline GTS for many years and still love them and I also wear the Launch for shorter races. The Ghost 3 has a great toe box, comfortable, and is responsive to endurance training and fast repeats at the track. I highly recommend the new Ghost 3!!

I have had two pairs of the Ghost 2's and loved how light-weight and supportive they were. In fact, my only complaint with the Ghost 2's was that they wore out very quickly, and I found myself replacing them every 2 months b/c the cushioning was spent. So, I was super-excited to see that the Ghost 3's have a similar bottom to the Glycerin's, which are super-cushy. When I got the Ghost 3's and tried them on, I was really disappointed that the whole toe-box shape of the shoe had been changed. The new shape caused there to be way too much fabric above my toe's and the shoe felt too wide across the toe-box, but not anywhere else on the shoe. For some reason, it made the shoe on my smaller foot seem way too big even with my inserts. I think that whenever the Ghost 4's come out, they would be perfect if you kept the new bottoms, the same arch support, and the light-weightness (sp?), but went back to the original shape of the toe-box. I think when you started to offer these shoes in several widths that the B width became too wide.

Comments about Ghost 3:
After only 8 months the shoe seems to have lost its support. One spot on the tread came loose and I had to re-glue it down. It seems to have stretched out, also, and the tread seems to have worn down on the forefoot sooner that it should have.

Comments about Ghost 3:
I do not run but I do go to the gym daily and do a lot of walking. These shoes are very light and breathe. They look good and feel like I have worn them forever. I wear a 9.5 AA so can't wear just any ole shoe. I am very anxious to see how they wear over the next year or two. Right now, I love them.

Comments about Ghost 3:
I run regularly, about 4 miles at a time, 4 days a week. I've done so mostly for the last 16 years.
I found the Ghost 2 a couple years ago and was delighted with the comfort and fit immediately out of the box, and ordered several (maybe 4!) additional pairs. I'm on my last pair, and so had ordered the Ghost 3.
I have a narrower foot, though usually am fine in a medium width, I got the Ghost 3 in a narrow. It was much wider than the old medium width. The insole also placed the arch slightly forward from my arch. But I discovered by pulling out my old insoles from the old shoes, the new Ghost 3s felt much better.
Bottom line: the re-work of the shoe makes it fit and feel completely different, and I realized again, I'll have to find a new running shoe. :( Sad.
They are fine shoes, but not the same as the old Ghost versions.

Comments about Ghost 3:
I love these shoes. I trained for my last marathon in them and found them to be incredibly comfortable, supportive and light enough to log high mileage. After several half marathons and my full marathon I was amazed at how I DIDN'T notice my feet during or after the race.
Why, oh, why, did you change the 4's so much? The 3's are incredible, the 4's are so-so.

Comments about Ghost 3:
My shins and feet were hurting so bad! I bought these shoes and the soreness in heels and shins is going away. I know they have already updated the Ghost 3 but I hope they keep making them the same, I love them.

Comments about Ghost 3:
I have a narrow foot! Who would have thought it? I'm very happy with my purchase other than the fact that the shoe feels a half of a size too big. I've ordered the next size down and will be returning these. I love Brooks shoes!

Comments about Ghost 3:
I use these shoes mostly for road running, but also indoor gym workouts. I have a narrow foot, so I appreciate the narrow sizing option. I've worn other models of Brooks running shoes, but never the Ghost. So far, so good!
