With the Adrenaline™ ASR™ 7, the run has no limits. Wet pavement and rugged paths are no match for the outsole's aggressive grip. The heralded performance of our supportive Adrenaline™ GTS is wrapped up in a water-resistant upper and extra-durable materials to keep your feet warm and happy as conditions change. Now available in a wide width (2E), to help more runners break boundaries of weather and terrain.
In their 2010 Winter Shoe Review, Competitor magazine loved this shoe too, saying "If you were told to pack one pair of running shoes for a run in a mystery destination, not knowing the weather, surface or distance, this shoe would be a reasonable choice."

On my third pair of Adrenalins! Went to the local running store and they recommended them. I previously had knee pains with another brand and have not had any since switching to the Brooks. Use them running and hiking on muddy, rocky, rooty trails in Oregon and they pretty much handle everything. I've even worn them while hiking/climbing to the top of South Sister. They lost a couple lugs from the loose lava/scree but the upper was hardly scuffed. I do wish they would come in more flashy colors. Gray isn't very adrenalin producing!

The fit is perfect but after 10 minutes, maybe 5, both my heels are screaming, eventually I loose sensitivity in my foot and then pins and needles. I have tried gel foot beds, flat foot beds double flat foot beds, Merrill 7mm new foot beds, gel heel only inserts. I have laced just the tops, skipped lacing every other time, removed the laces. I have worn super thick socks. I have never experienced this with another shoe. I have tried to use it just for trail walking then immediately remove them and put on another pair of shoes but, once my foot is in them my feet are shot for the day. They are useless to me. I have finished a hike on my forefoot. I have had them for 5 weeks. I have tried everything I can think of..

I bought these shoes a few months back and I am glad I did. Fantastic shoe! I ran the UROC 100k after only wearing them for a couple days. No blisters, no arch or heal problems.

I'm currently using this shoe for long distance practices. I'm planning on using them for the Catalina Eco Marathon. They feel good and seem rugged enough to handle the trails in Catalina. We'll find out on November 12th, 2012!

Comments about Adrenaline ASR 7:
I travel to Colorado for work once a month and bringing 2 pairs of running shoes to handle trails and paved paths on a carry on wasn't an option. I have run fire roads and paved paths for 3 months with these, and spent last weekend using them on 14 miles of backcountry trails in Rocky Mountain Natl Park and they worked great (traction especially). Now I would not go so far as to use then on hikes with rocky, eroded. or really uneven terrain where ankle support can keep you from becoming a carryout. They are also a little more compact than my main road running shoes

Comments about Adrenaline ASR 7:
I would not consider myself a runner, however I wear these for work A LOT. I would say I am on my feet up to 18 hours a day standing sometimes in one place outdoors a lot. When I first received this shoe I was a bit skeptical b/c it was my first Brooks shoe and it felt awkward. I quickly became very comfortable with this shoe's ability to hold my arch in place and give me better posture. This shoe was recommended for me by a chiropractor and it paid off with having very little back pain after switching to this shoe. I only wear a lift in one side with no gel or inserts needed. When I wore these out in unfavorable weather conditions I was impressed with their performance in hot, cold, and rainy conditions.
I highly recommend this product. I am already becoming restless trying to find a new brooks or similar shoe that compares to the many qualities that this shoe has.

Comments about Adrenaline ASR 7:
4 days into my new relationship with the ASR's, it's pure BLISS! I'm 6'3",240lbs,and pure hell on shoes. My feet are size 14, have a high arch that collapse and need othortic support in the arch, and sweat profusely which promote a continuous battle with the dreaded athletes foot! Brooks has finally done it! They produced an attractive shoe i can wear straight out of the box, with no arch support required. This shoe breathes amazingly well, too. I live in what amounts to a tropical rainforrest, and with these ASR's, my feet are staying the most cool and dry, from a persperation standpoint, they have ever been. I work outside, in the dirt, and that is what i primarily use these for, up 10 hrs a day. The grip on the soles
is amazing! Yesterday, i was pushing a dead riding lawnmower upslope, and the shoes were literally pulling up the top inch of sod in the uphill struggle. And my foot was completely stable/set in the footbed with no movement inside the shoe. This was AWESOME! The Arch support is perfect. Never have i been in a shoe that didn't need arch modifications, these ASR's are perfect for me in that respect. If there was one thing i would change, it would be the color, and i'm just being picky here. But some nice "earthy" green or brown would be awesome since these are offroad shoes and would tend to show less dirt, mud, grass stains. Overall, these are just outstanding shoes. Thanks So Much Brooks!!!!

Comments about Adrenaline ASR 7:
My first trail shoe, I used it for a 50 K North Face Endurance Race in WI...pretty happy with it. I run bark and gravel trails at our local university 10K trail also, it's usually up for the challenge. I must say, the shoe has taken a beating, but still has plenty of cushion left. I wouldn't use this shoe for anything but trail running.

Comments about Adrenaline ASR 7:
My long distance runner is the GTS 11 but the ASR gets the call for all my cross-training or trail runs. The sturdy yet expressive fit combined with the rugged out-sole and weather toughness make it irreplaceable. The fact that it fits and feels just like my other shoes gives me confidence when I switch out day to day. I can't wait for the next version.
