Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
The ASR 7 was the first trail shoe I ever liked, so I was nervous that the GTX felt more like a road shoe then its predecessor, but I love it. I wish that the shoe wrapped better around the back of the foot. The goretex works great though the inside is pretty much a road shoe when it does get wet and stinks like one too. Still, I won't use anything else on muddy/wet trails.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I have been running in Adrenalines for a lot of years including 3-4 incarnations of their trail shoes. Cold feet are a given running in northern Michigan in the winter. These shoes are great for keeping your feet warm. I wear a 12 1/2 and can put on any version of Adrenaline in a 12 1/2 and it fits -- except this one. It must have to do with the extra material used to keep them waterproof and insulated. I had to bump up 1/2 a size for this shoe to feel like a 12 1/2. But, these are the best trail shoes I've ever had.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I use the shoes for warming up and drills. The major thing that is good about this shoe is durable. Nothing at this point.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I almost exclusively run off road on trails.
I ran for years with my Brooks road shoes. They were great, but traction was lacking, big rocks hurt my arch and I invariably had wet feet.
These shoes were a semi-spontaneous purchase but are the only ones I now wear. They actually do what they claim. My feet are dry in snow, and mud and rain and therefore also warmer. I now wear my sneakers out if it is raining and I just have to run an errand; something I never did before.
I just purchased a pair for my running buddy after listening to him moan and cry after our last run in the snow and he loves them.
They aren't going to help you if you step in a stream and submerse your foot but I can't think of anything that will.
I would recommend these shoes without reservation.
Note: They do have a significant medial support so, for runners that don't need this, you might have some discomfort, but as I need it, it was a godsend.
Happy running!

I am using these at the police academy. We run outside and train in crossfit. Excellent shoes that can handle the punishment :)

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
This shoe worked very good for me off paved trails. I highly recommend this if you run in wet or dry grass, gravel or dirt. When I first started with them I ran on pavement. I noticed shin splints and had a couple missteps/rolls. This is something that I didn't have with the GTS shoe. However, once I stepped off the pavement.. that all went away! This shoe is truly made as a off pavement trail shoe. If you're used to the GTS, this shoe is a little heavier due to the added sole and waterproofing, but fits much the same. I wouldn't give up your GTSs or regular pavement/track running shoe for these, but they make a great compliment if you do the occasional off trail running or hiking.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
These are my new favorites! Thanks Brooks for finally making something that is truly waterproof! They provide fantastic protection from the elements, so now I can use my favorite Brooks trail runners as my "go-to" shoe for most outdoor activities. They are great for hiking and rambling in the outdoors. They are stable enough, protective enough and have good enough traction that I've even used them for a short overnight backpacking / canyoneering trip. They've performed really well for me in a variety of mixed conditions on varied terrain.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I'm doing a Bootcamp and I needed a pair of shoes that were versatile for different weather conditions and different kind of workout (calisthenics, running, and so on).
These shoes are perfect, great cushioning and support, waterproof (tested), and not too heavy despite being made with GoreTex.
If you are into this kind of workout, these shoes wont disappoint you.
