I have been wearing the "old style" Addiction Walker for some time now. I need to wear otrhotics in my shoes and over pronate badly. The "old style" was not very well padded and the tongue kept shifting to the side. However, they fit my orthotics well and their shape contours nicely to the shape of your foot. People who wear otrthotics already have a foot problem and many times is accompanied by chronic pain. Cushioning is an issue!! I recently went on a search to find a more cushioned shoe. I found some other brands were much more cushioned for around the same price. Funny thing.....neither one fit like the Brooks Addiction Walker. I needed shoes so I bought another pair of Addictions. It's the only shoe I can wear and I wear them 24/7. To my surprise changes had been made in the "new style!!" I love the cushioning and the new features so please leave this shoe alone now! Please keep in mind people with medical conditions truly need the cushioning. You have no idea what a gift COMFORT is for us.

I have worn the "old" style of this shoe for many happy years, as it was the only shoe I'd been able to find for my diabetic feet. This new style is very narrow and I tried going up a half size and even tried going up a width, but just couldn't get the right fit.
So, I'm having to track down some place to hopefully stock up on the old style before it's no longer available. If I cannot find them, I don't know what I'm going to do. These shoes were the only thing helping me stay mobile as it is very difficult for me to walk.

Like the comment before me... My legs hurt so bad I could not even walk my dog anymore. I put these on and the cushioning and fit were amazing. My feet do not hurt anymore and after spending hundreds on New Balance and other brands I finally got smart and remembered the best fitting shoe I ever owned "Brooks" and these are even better than the ones I had before. Thank you!!! Please do not change a thing. If you must change something just make another shoe OK?

The best walking shoes I have ever tried I wear them all day long doing chores around the house, shopping, cleaning and taking my dogs on very long walks I can wear them from morning until night and be on my feet all day long with no discomfort what so ever.

I work in these shoes. I have looked and looked for a shoe that would help my feet. I have worn them for 2 days and feel like my feet are starting to feel better. I have orthotics and it has been a stuggle to find the best shoe for them. most shoes feels good for about 2 months then break down. I am in hopes these will last for a long time.

I work 60 plus hours a week standing or walking most of the time. I have had foot surgery and have problems with my feet for as long as I can rememver. I wear orthotics and get injections in both feet regularly. I forgot how great it is not to have your feet hurt most of the day, even after I am off them at night. But after wearing these shoes today, I had no foot pain at work or when I got home. These are the best work shoes I have ever owned. Worth so much more than [$] to be pain free. My co-workers got tired of me saying all day how great my feet felt!

This is one of the best work shoes ever for those who suffer from Plantar Fasciitis. My feet stay cool, supported and above all pain free, even after 8 hours of standing in a checkstand. They have great traction on wet floors and look stylish as well. I'm a convert!

I bought these shoes because I have bad feet and use orthotics. I'd always heard that Brooks are the best shoes, but I was hesitant to spend the money. But I see that there are several other lesser-quality brands out there for the same cost (or more), so I decided it was time to go for comfort and quality and not worry about the price. I'm so glad I did. These shoes are extremely comfortable, and I'm so glad I spent the money on them. I've only been wearing them for a couple of weeks, so I can't comment on their durability, but they seem like they will last as long as I need them to.
