Physical therapy for a year due to knee, ankle and hip problems. I was told I could never run long distances. I bought Brooks addictions years ago and 3 marathons, 5 half marathons later, I am COMPLETELY INJURY FREE. I will never give up my Brooks addiction. Honestly, if you continue to have repeated injuries, give these a chance before giving up. They are wonderful. I want to buy these for all of my friends who continue to have repetitive injuries. Usually a size 10 to 10.5 in shoes, I take a size 11.5 in these. I needed more room in the toe box.

Not a bad shoe, not as good as I expecte
I have very low arches and based on the reviews I was expecting a little more arch support. In genderal the support is not bad except when I am running.

I needed a pair of sneakers for my trip to Disney. Usually I get New Balance sneakers, but they're not as comfortable as I would like. I tried these sneakers and LOVE them! MANY miles at Disney and my feet didn't hurt! Yeah! I'm going to buy another pair!

My physical therapist says this is the best shoe made for pronators and people with as many ankle problems as I have. I love them. With an insert recommended by my foot specialist ( you do have to take out the shoe insert to put other inserts in), I have no foot pain anymore at all and can walk in these all day long. Just wish they were less money.

I am 63yrs old and wear these shoes to work. I work 12hr shifts that involve much walking. I pronate badly and due to arthritis have some pain in both feet. These shoes alleviate both these conditions. We also walk quite a bit on various "get-a-ways" and these shoes are perfect for those occasions.

Same story as many of the other people who buy Brooks shoes – I'm an overpronator, love to jog, and I have a job that needs me to be on my feet a lot. I've got a painful Haglund's bump on the left heel.
These are the first motion control shoes I've tried and I'm loving them. They're a lot lighter than they look and the arch support is great. They're designed with orthotics users in mind as the insert in the bottom of the shoe isn't even glued in. My orthotics are easy to get in and out of these shoes.
You don't have to feel weird wearing them everywhere, either, because they look like regular sneakers when they're on.

I have pronation,as well as some other issues with my feet. These shoes are the best! I live in them!
My only criticism is that they break down and lose their comfort sooner than I would like. I replace them about every three months.

I only wear brooks shoes i have tried others but they dont fit my feet as good.I use them to walk and work in.I wear a wide width so it is hard to find good looking shoes. My shoe store always keep my shoe size so when i walk in i give my name they bring out my size in the newest style.

After checking several stability shoes, I found that these shoes fit my heel perfectly and the shoes never slipped around liked the others. Another brand was a little more cushiony but finding a pair of shoes that had such a good fit was a godsend.
After putting in the first 50 miles, the shoes broke in nicely and have been great to run in.

This is an outstanding motion control shoe that gives me support and stability and where I need it. I have three fused joints in one foot and two in the other, wear orthotics, and this is the shoe for me. I tried the Ariel but it did not support me in the midfoot; the Addiction hugs my foot where I need it. Love it, love it, love it. Told retailer to never let me buy any other shoe.
