Can these be worn for tennis?

Hi Blossom! The Launch GTS 8 may be a good option for you as people do use our shoes for other activities other than running and walking. Keep in mind our styles like the Launch GTS 8 are designed specifically for running and walking.

Is the gts8 replacing the Ravenna shoe?

Hi Jennifer! That's correct. The Ravenna is renamed to Launch GTS. The Launch GTS 8 has the same cushion and support levels as the previous Ravenna iterations.

What is the difference between Ravenna 11 and the launch GT 8?

Hi Marcia! The update to the Ravenna style is renamed to the Launch GTS 8. This new update continues to have the same cushion and support level as the previous Ravenna iterations. We continue to use our innovative technology, GuideRails to support your body in its natural motion path while keeping excess movement in check. The Launch GTS 8 features our BioMoGo DNA midsole with more blown rubber in the forefoot creating a faster transition from heel to toe and makes the shoe more durable. The new air mesh upper enhances the fit and ventilation, eliminating the need for the internal bootie.

Do these actually help with overpronation while running?

Why did Ravenna get a new name/have to change?

Hi there! We wanted to create a seamless process when it comes to choosing a product. We understand that with all these different style names, adding GTS to the end of a name like “Launch,” we get Launch GTS. Now we know that this shoe is going to have the Go To Support through the use of our Guiderails support technology.

Before I buy these (launch gts 8) I wanted to know how they would compare with the Brooks adrenaline. I have ordered size 10 in the men’s adrenaline for several years because the medium width in the women’s was too snug. Never thought to try the wide in women’s. However I am wondering if the launch gts 8 in women’s might be worth trying. I walk 25-30 miles a week so that’s what they would be used for. I was thinking 10.5 wide(women’s) might be the size to try. Your thoughts? Sara

Hi Sara! The Launch GTS 8 and the Adrenaline GTS style have the same support level. The Launch GTS 8 has a more responsive ride while the Adrenaline GTS style has a higher cushion level and a more plush feel. If you wear a Men's size 10, we recommend a Women's size 11.5 Wide width.

I bought a size 8 in the Glycerin 17. Would a size 7.5 wide in the Launch GTS 8 be too big? Gloria

What is the drop of this shoe?

Can I use orthodics with these?

I run marathons and half marathons - do these shoes provide enough support/cushion for that? I'm stuck between adrenaline or ghost and these, but these feel so light - I really like them - just not sure if they can hold up to the higher mileage. Thoughts?

Hi Meg! The Launch GTS 8 has enough cushion and support for the full and half marathon distances. The Support of the Launch GTS 8 is the same as the Adrenaline GTS style.

How close is this to the Ariel 20?

Hi Donna! The Launch GTS 8 is much lighter weight, springier in the cushioning, and more moderate in overall support. The Ariel '20 is one of our most supportive styles in the Max Support category and is considerably higher in cushion than the Launch GTS 8.

I wore Ravenna for years, (I have very flat feet). I see that they list flat/medium arches while the Launch 8 GTS, which took their place list medium/high arch. If the Launch are the replacement why is there a difference here?

Hi Deanna! The Launch 8 GTS still has the same comfort and support structure that the Ravenna offered. So it's not a different shoe, just a different name. The arch spec does not refer to the arch support or the physical arch height within the shoe. If you had success in the Ravenna style, you'll enjoy the Launch GTS 8.

Hi, are these light pink, or the same color as the Revel Primrose?

What is a size 9.5 in centimeters, and a size 10 in centimeters, please? Thank you!

Hi Alyse! In the Launch GTS 8, a size 9.5 is 26cm and a size 10 is 26.5cm.

I’m a 7.5 but usually get an 8 for running shoes- I saw these run big but don’t know how much?

The only thing big about this shoe is the nice toe box that allows your toes room. Not overly large but just right, so many shoes confine toes into a tight little space , these I can wiggle my toes but I am not feeling any extra large sizing.

What type of shoelaces are there?

Do these fit the same as adrenaline gts? Meaning should I order the same size that I wear in those ?

Hi Ashley! The Adrenaline GTS style fits similar to the Launch GTS 8. We recommend ordering the same size in the Launch GTS as the Adrenaline GTS.

Is there room in these shoes for orthotics?

If you have a narrow foot, there might be room for orthotics. I wear a regular width in the Ghost 11, but I had to return the GTS 8 in a regular width and get the wide width. The good thing is that if you tried them with the orthotics and there wasn’t room, Brooks has an awesome return policy. I was able to print off a return shipping label for free so it made things very simple. (This response is not sponsored at all; I t’s just my honest opinion based on my experience.)

I loved my adrenaline gts 17’s. Do the launch gts 8 run same for sizing? Or should I size down?

How are launch 8 gts in comparison to the adrenaline 20?

Hi Kandy! The Launch 8 GTS and the Adrenaline GTS 20 are both in the Support category. The Adrenaline GTS style has more cushion and has a plush feel. While the Launch GTS is lighter, quicker, and more responsive.

Is this good for flat feet and plantar fasciitis?

Hi G'bria! Plantar fasciitis can be tricky to solve with a single shoe as it can be quite different from person to person. Typically, we find shoes with a higher drop from heel to toe, good cushion to take the impact away, and sometimes minimal flex to help in case the other benefits aren't enough for your feet. A great option to start with to help with plantar fasciitis relief is our Adrenaline GTS model. The Adrenaline GTS offers a 12mm drop from heel to toe which helps to put your weight more in the forefoot and away from the plantar in your heel. How is GTX different from regular Launch?

Hi Gretchen! The Launch GTS 8 and the Launch 8 have the same cushion level and fit. The difference is the Launch GTS style is for people that pronate as they walk or run, while the Launch style is for people that have a neutral to supinated stride.
