Ordering brooks running shoes do I stick to my regular shoe size or size up?

Hi Danielle. You will always want approx. 1/2 in. of space (a thumbs width) between the end of your big toe and the end of the shoe. We recommend sizing up your running shoes 1/2 of a size from what your normal size.

Are these ok to use for trail running?

Hi Angie. We do not recommend the Hyperion Max for running on trails. The tread and the upper are designed for more level surfaces like the road or track.

This is the best shoe for me yet! Are they planning to come out with more colors? Been waiting to buy another pari!

Are the running shoes washable by machine?

Hi Joanne! We recommend avoiding washing machines and (especially) dryers, but you can hand wash your shoes. Here are some tips as well as a link to an article that goes in greater depth: 1. Brush the bottom of your shoes to remove as much mud and dirt as possible. 2. Remove the shoelaces. 3. Gently use a damp cloth or brush to clean the uppers. 4. Rinse with warm water. 5. Remove the insoles and clean and dry them separately. 6. Stuff your shoes with newspaper. This helps them maintain shape and decreases drying time. What is the suggested mileage ?

Hi Shelly! We recommend using the Hyperion Max for your speed workouts, uptempo runs, and races. When used for their intended purpose, performance running shoes, including the Hyperion Max, have an expected lifespan of about 300-500 miles with regular use. We recommend regular rotation of a few pairs of good shoes to ensure the highest level of performance.

What are the differences between Hyperion Max and Hyperion Tempo?

Hi Karen! The Hyperion Max features an extra 4mm of DNA FLASH cushioning and rapid roll technology — the unique curving of the heel and toe — to help propel you forward for effortlessly fast transitions. It will be more cushioned and slightly more protective than the Hyperion Tempo.
