Lean construction fuses with a responsive fit in the PureCadence. For Guidance to Support runners, this shoe delivers more support through smart, streamlined features such as a wider Nav Band that’s locked in to the medial strike pod. A reinforced heel counter secures the foot and the internal PDRB helps prevent overpronation. The PureCadence gives runners who need more stability the chance to experience the feel of a natural foot strike with a lightweight, breathable shoe.
Just like our core line, we hold PureProject to the industry’s highest weartest and durability standards. Because of their lightweight construction and fewer materials, runners should generally expect shoes from the PureProject line to last approximately 250-300 miles.

I was lucky to be a part of the "real world testing" of the Pure Cadence. I ran three full marathons one in the pouring rain. These shoes are really one of a kind. Light, nimble , fast , with amazing cushion.
What a true treat to the running world.
Yours truly.

Over all, love shoe, just wished shoe had outer toe guard. Reason being, I do a load of push-ups and box jumps. I have a feeling that outer front toe are will wear out quickly.

My husband didn't think he was a pronator but this shoe helps him run with less strain on his feet and lower legs. He now accepts that he is a pronator and has commented on how light these shoes are -- he has a long and narrow foot, so was hoping for a narrow shoe here but seems happy enough with this width.

I have always had trouble finding a good pair of running shoes due to flat feet and being 230 pounds. However these shoes fit like slippers, help with stability, and have allowed me to increase my running distance from doing 5k to half-marathons. I was so pleased with the shoes I just bought two more pairs. So far I have put more than 300 miles on the first pair I purchased with no issues including two trail runs through streams with no problems.

I run about 20-25 miles a week and I've never had a shoe fit and feel as good as these. The band hugs my foot perfectly. The combination of stability control and light weight can't be matched in other shoes. I've stopped running and started gliding.

Lightweight and comfortable shoes, but I have had them for three months and have not logged a ton of miles on them. The sole of the shoe is already coming apart. I expect more out of a [$] shoe.

The toe split and elastic band do nothing for me. That's the bad. Here's the good - in 25 years of running I've never been able to correct a heel strike problem that has caused me a lot of lower leg injuries. This shoe has single handedly corrected this fatal form flaw! I will now be able to train more cosistently with fewer injuries. I would say its a lightweight trainer, not a minimalist shoe. If that's what you are looking for buy a half size up (they run a little small) and you will be pleased.

Hello runners!
Pure Cadence is my favorite road-running shoe. I hope this review helps.
I put 700 road miles on this same pair and they still pop. Good long-distance runners. Just bought my second pair.
Durable, light, breaths well, minimalist feel with road protection, and oder resistant. Naturally wide. Sizing seems true. Outstanding quality and crafsmanship. Well researched and engineered.
I like what your doing Brooks! More modest color options would be nice. I guess it's cool to have shoes that look like rocket ships but sleepers are where it's at.

I run half marathons and below. I train about 35 miles per week. The Brooks Cadence work very naturally with my feet and feel very light and comfortable. Among the most suitable shoes I have owned and I just purchased 4 leading brands to test side by side!
