I'm a beginning runner(again) with low arches. I had custom orthodotics until I accidentally threw them away in some old shoes. I ran/walked in a 4 mile race last month without orthodotics. I have not any injuries, such as shin splits or plantar fasciitis since I bought the shoes in Feb. '10.They a little stiff & heavy at first, but not now.

Love these shoes. They are the third pair I have had of this model. And they're comfy and durable, and provide great support I am normally a size 8 but order 8.5 for these shoes andit seems to be a perfect fit.

I purchased these shoes because I'm training for a race and these were recommended for runners with moderate to severe overpronation. My overpronation is very severe, I have problems with bunions,and I have soft tissue damage in the 2nd-3rd metatarsal area from surgery a long time ago. I have a hard time finding shoes of any type that are comfortable. These shoes work out REALLY well for me. I noticed the difference immediately when I switched from my old running shoes. My feet don't hurt anymore after I run! The pronation control is better than most shoes, but for me it wasn't quite enough all by itself. I do still have to use an orthotic. I am really pleased with these shoes, and would definitely recommend them, particularly for people who have problem feet like me.

I have worn these shoes for running actually jogging daily to keep fit and in shape. I had knee issues and used an orthodic before i discovered Brooks shoes for pronators. Using these shoes fixed my issues and i don't need the orthodics. THey are wonderful!!!!

I over pronate and these shoes are the best shoes I have been able to find that gives me ample motion control and support. They are very comfortable on long runs and I do wish they looked cooler or cuter.

This is an excellent motion control shoe. It is not as "clunky" as some of the others I've used and the D width does not bother my bunions. The Addiction is also very durable. It seems like I'm able to get more mileage out of this model without compromising stability.
