These gloves have no trouble keeping my hands warm. I usually end up peeling back the mitten portion before my run is half over. I wish they offered in XS. I got the S/M and my pinky hardly clears the end of the glove. The magnents are a fantastic idea. Could have been just a bit stronger. The mitten likes to flap free when hit with gusts of wind. Great design and wear them all the time for running.

I run in weather as cold as in the teens. These mittens are perfect for that temperature. When my hands get hot then I can just open them up!

I bought a pair of these at a running store a few years ago, and my husband liked them so much I tried to order a pair for him online. Sadly, though the Brooks customer service people were super helpful in trying to find me a pair anywhere, they seemed to have been discontinued. I just lost one of mine, so I thought, what the heck, I'll check the website again. I was SO EXCITED to see that they'd made a comeback that I ordered three pairs (one each for me and the husband, plus an extra just in case :-). They're perfect for walking in winter, especially when you want to whip out your touchscreen phone to check e-mail or take a photo.

Definitely a good choice for living in South Carolina.....Keeps my hands warm then I am able to pull back the mitten to reveal the half gloves to maintain warm but not get overheated, and to adjust ipod, open gels, etc. The fleece does not breath well but it has not been a problem since by the time your hands are that hot to sweat you can pull back the mitten. If you are unsure about the size choose the larger size. I have relatively small frame hands and am so glad I got the L/XL.

This pair of mitten/cloves that when I want my fingers peeking out the mitten part doesn't fall back. These are some tough magnets. They are THE BEST AND WARM TOO!
I can use the Iphone without having to take the
entire glove off. Who ever developed these gloves
needs to be put on a pedastil.

Almost perfect. I like the idea and definitely works well on colder days. When I start out I need warmer gloves and these do keep your hands really warm. The convertible top works well most of the time, my one wish is that the fingerless portion went further down my fingers. If they did that I think they would be perfect. That said these are the gloves I use most of the winter, just not the best for early fall or spring.
