Hi wanting to order Addiction Walker 2 for my 12 yo son recently diagnosed with flat feet. Can you help me work out what width to order for my son? Clark’s in England recently measured him 7 width G. Is this he shoe you would recommend? Thanks

Hello, according to Clark’s website, size 7 G is described as their standard fit. This would correspond to Brooks addiction Walker 2 “normal size”. Unusually this shoe is also available in two wider versions. I bought the 2E option because I have a wider instep. Size charts are just a guide and shoe design can vary greatly from brand to brand. If your son is comfortable in his current trainers and they are “standard” then the “normal” Brooks option should work. If they are a bit tight, go for the 2E version. Can the insole be removed from this shoe?

Yes. I removed mine so I could use my orthotics
