It’s all in the DNA RISE TUNED foam. This lightweight, nitrogen-infused cushioning uses a dual-cell compound that combines larger cells for softness with smaller cells for responsiveness within one integrated midsole. By controlling the ratio and placement of these cells, the foam can deliver plush cushioning and a responsive, springy feel at the same time. The result is soft, comfortable cushioning with the responsiveness needed for frequent runs and longer distances.

The biggest update is underfoot. The Glycerin Max 3 introduces DNA RISE TUNED, an evolution of the DNA TUNED cushioning used in the Glycerin Max 2. The new foam is 7% softer, 8% more responsive and 15% lighter than DNA TUNED, while maintaining the same 45:39 mm total stack height.
