What a weekend, what an atmosphere, what a shared running experience! The MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks 2026 is behind us – and we’re looking back on unforgettable days full of sporting highlights, electrifying energy and truly goosebump-worthy moments.

More than 40,000 runners, hundreds of thousands of spectators along the course and a varied programme at the Runners Festival in the Olympiapark made Munich the meeting point for a passionate running community.

Whether it was the excitement before the start, the many words of encouragement along the course or the indescribable feeling of crossing the finish line – the passion for running and the joy of sharing the experience could be felt everywhere.

At the Runners Festival in the Olympiapark, everyone came together to celebrate, explore and share their enthusiasm for running. The Brooks Cheering Zone at Odeonsplatz brought extra energy and plenty of goosebump moments.

With tireless support and lots of party vibes, runners were cheered on throughout their journey across Munich and pushed to new heights.

The weekend also delivered a real sporting highlight: Brooks athlete Nina Reuter successfully defended her marathon title!

An impressive performance and a fantastic achievement that added another special moment to this marathon weekend.

But beyond all the sporting success and personal bests, it was above all the people who made the MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks 2026 so special. The runners who went beyond their limits, the spectators who turned the streets into one big Cheering Zone, and the entire running community, whose enthusiasm showed what running is all about: togetherness, passion and the joy of reaching goals together.

A huge thank you to everyone who shaped and experienced this weekend with us – to every single runner, all the supporters along the course and everyone behind the scenes who made Munich the stage for an unforgettable running event. Thank you for your energy, your support and the many moments we’ll remember for a long time to come!
