\n CJ Albertson is a professional long-distance runner based in Fresno, CA. In 2022, he set the world record for the 50k—a record which he still holds. In 2024, he took 7th place overall and was the top American at the Boston Marathon and Chicago Marathon, as well as placed in the top 5 at the Olympic marathon trials in Orlando. When not running, CJ serves as a professor and head coach at Clovis Community College, and enjoys life as a father of three.\n
