ABOUT PT LONG RICH:

PT Long Rich was our first final assembly footwear factory in Indonesia. When looking for a new footwear factory, we were excited by PT Long Rich’s vertical integration. This means that core material production of midsoles and outsoles are manufactured adjacent to PT Long Rich. Vertical integration reduces transportation distances between component production and final assembly, which can help lower associated greenhouse gas emissions. This, coupled with our longstanding relationship with the Dean Shoes network, made expanding into PT Long Rich a natural choice for Brooks.

In alignment with our sustainability goals to reduce environmental impact, PT Long Rich matches much of its electricity consumption with renewable energy credits from hydropower. PT Long Rich is also committed to employee well-being and annually partners with Better Work, an organization that aims to improve working conditions in manufacturing supply chains to implement annual trainings focused on topics such as worker empowerment, health and safety, and ergonomics.
