What was your internship project?
\nMy project involved integrating laces and sock liners into our supply chain systems. The primary goal was to streamline processes for these items, encompassing everything from procurement to ERP system integration, storage, and distribution. As a result, Brooks can now efficiently fulfill customer requests for lace or sock liner replacements.\n

How did your internship prepare you for your current role?
\nMy internship project was unique because it required a comprehensive understanding of the entire Brooks supply chain model before initiating the project. This experience made my transition into a full-time role seamless. The project provided me with the opportunity to meet with key stakeholders and colleagues from multiple departments, which remains useful to my current role as it highlights the importance of collaboration.\n

What does a typical day look like for you now?
\nAs an associate supply planner, I manage footwear sample operations by preparing, consolidating, and coordinating orders to ensure that our products are distributed to global stakeholders according to the development calendar. My weekly tasks include creating reports, placing and auditing purchase orders, and maintaining data. Additionally, I engage in various continuous improvement projects.\n
