What was your internship project?
\nI created a new reporting system for accrual costing for the inbound transportation team. The goal was to improve visibility of cost changes and trends, allowing quick identification of outliers or unexpected trends to trigger immediate action. This system enhanced reporting efficiency and allowed the team to focus more of their time on taking action rather than digging through the data.\n

How did your internship prepare you for your current role?
\nMy internship helped me understand the expectations of a full-time position, which allowed me to make a larger impact when I transitioned into one. It also allowed me to establish relationships throughout the company. These relationships have continued into my full-time role and improved the connection and engagement that I have with my work and the company as a whole.\n

What does a typical day look like for you now?
\nIn my current role as an outbound transportation analyst, I work on analyzing our shipments to customers and wholesalers within the United States and Canada. I build dashboards to help improve visibility and enable us to quickly identify trends of costs and efficiency. From this analysis, I help the team identify savings opportunities and potential efficiency enhancements to help improve the satisfaction of our runners.\n
