For several seasons at Eagle Pass High School, Coach Perez has continuously shown her selfless dedication and strong leadership. Coach Perez goes above and beyond, even sacrificing her own comfort to ensure her athletes have what they need and demonstrates empathy and patience with all of her athletes. One of her nominators shared that “She is always willing to learn to better coach her athletes to success. I once saw Coach Perez run a practice in socks because she saw that an athlete needed shoes. She is not afraid to give help where help is needed.” Coach Perez goes above and beyond, even sacrificing her own comfort to ensure her athletes have what they need and it’s that passion and commitment that makes her all the more deserving of this recognition.
