Finally found my go-to show

Finally, a running shoe that requires no compromise. I have strange feet--they're narrow, but I have a bunion on one foot that means that I can't wear narrow widths. So I buy normal widths and just deal with the inevitable heel-slip. Thanks to the flexibility of this shoe, there is no heel slip. I prefer a relatively low-drop shoe with minimal cushioning, that feels fast and invisible. This…

So I buy normal widths and just deal with the inevitable heel-slip. Thanks to the flexibility of this shoe, there is no heel slip. I prefer a relatively low-drop shoe with minimal cushioning, that feels fast and invisible. This shoe really fits the bill. I wouldn't want any more cushioning than this shoe provides. They're the most cushioned shoes that I own, but they do that without making you feel like you're wearing a lot of stuff on your feet, a feeling I hate. I've only worn them on the treadmill so far, but they feel fast. Looking forward to better weather so I can try them outside, which is a truer test. Prior to this, my go-to shoe was the Salming Distance 4, but they are no longer available in my size. I might buy a few more pairs of these while they still are! Read More

Great Shoes!

I'm 5'7" 189lbs, run half marathons, and this is my first pair of Brooks. I ordered a half-size up and the laces on my left foot felt too tight -- until I started running. As my foot settled into the front of the shoe, the front edge of laces no longer cut into my bridge. The shoe supports my arch well and feels great during pacing sprints! That's really really cool. I'm a fan. I'm three weeks…

Nailed it!

I did the survey where I answered questions and Brooks picked my shoes. I've had about 6 pairs of Brooks and these are the best yet! They are so much more comfortable to run in. Thank you!!

Excellent shoes for road running in all climates

Two months ago I purchased my first pair of Brooks, Mazama 2. They are wonderful for trail running, and I wanted a similar neutral shoe for roads as I'm currently training for a marathon and run a lot. Neuro 3 is amazing. It's a very comfortable shoe, gives enough ankle support, and feels lightweight. I ran in them several times between 3.5 and 19 miles, both in sunny 70F and cloudy 28F. In all…

It's a very comfortable shoe, gives enough ankle support, and feels lightweight. I ran in them several times between 3.5 and 19 miles, both in sunny 70F and cloudy 28F. In all conditions they remain responsive and comfortable. If Brooks shoe finder quiz shows you Neuro 3, don't hesitate to get a pair. As for the size, I wear 6 - 6.5 in regular shoes, and although at running stores I was always told I must wear 7 for running, I feel much more stable and safer in 6.5, toenails clipped ;) After the first run, Neuro 3 completely adapted to my feet and are perfect.
