Light-Weight/Feel Great...But They Tore!

I'm chasing a 5K PR and bought a pair of these shoes to advance my run. They are very light weight without sacrificing providing solid structure or support; plus, they connect to the road really well. My only complaint is that the toe box of the right shoe tore on my second run! I'm concerned that the tear will worsen and ultimately affect the integrity of the shoe. I'm likely going to return…

My only complaint is that the toe box of the right shoe tore on my second run! I'm concerned that the tear will worsen and ultimately affect the integrity of the shoe. I'm likely going to return them and get another pair. (I would have rated this pair 5-stars if they hadn't torn. I may update my review once I test run a new pair.) Read More

It's a decent lightweight trainer.

I got this shoe as a college runner to use on faster, uptempo days, on road, grass, or track as my coach sees fit. I will say that it is a versatile shoe that seems to perform well on all three surfaces, and I even wore it once in an XC race, in which I was pleased with its performance (though if you race in mud or other slippery conditions I would not recommend the shoe). My only complaints are that the heel collar is a bit stiff, and since I have a very prominent achilles tendon (like many runners), the shoe is sometimes irritating. Furthermore, the shoe feels heavier than its listed weight would imply, and to me the shoe feels like it is heavy enough to have more cushion, but it doesn't. All in all though, the hyperion has been an adequate shoe for uptempo work, though not my favorite by any means. Read More

Great distance track/road racing flat!!!

Been running in these shoes on the track to help break in before half Marathon race. Love the feel and fit. Makes your training shoes feel like you have weights in them when you switch shoes out. I would recommend this shoe although it is a narrow shoe with a snug fit.

The perfect uptempo shoe.

The shoe feels super light and fast when just putting them on. The shoe is great for sockless running.
