Yesssss, Transcend 6 rocks! #GuiderailsForever

After years in the Glycerin with a stability insole, then this year's Adrenaline, and the Adidas SolarBoost, the Transcend 6 is all I have been hoping for. Similar to the plush Glycerin cushioning, the update to Loft DNA is a nice update in combination with the drop going from 8 mm to 10mm; which for me works perfectly. Now to the game-changing feature, the Guiderails! This new approach to stability is a winner pure and simple. It's not overly intrusive, and does what it is intended. If anything some may notice the Guiderails out of the box, but after the first few runs you forget they are there. Brooks you must, must, MUST keep this approach to stability moving forward in all relevant shoes. I'm sure owners of the Ravenna and Adrenaline can testify to this. Thank you Brooks! Read More

Great shoe fit right right out of the box.

Shoe laces too long for the shoe and please add more visible reflective tape on all Brooks shoes for safety. I'm a great fan of Brooks. Thanks!

Good follow-up to previous generation Transcend

After 8 knee surgeries, my running days are over. Now, it's just walking, which is fine. The Transcend 6 is a good follow up to the Transcend 5. The shoe is comfortable, supportive, and attractive. I am curious why the heal-toe drop increased from 8 mm to 10 mm, after being at 8 mm all the way back to the first generation. It doesn't make a huge difference, but the 8 mm drop was why I…

Love them...but they need a fix

I love the plush ride and the great stability. Like the Glycerin from last year the air/breathing holes on the lower part of the shoe (closest holes to the ground) need to be taped up from between the outer "shell" and inner "bootie" to prevent pebbles from getting lodged between layers (which makes a run a tad annoying. Once taped up they are perfect running shoes!! I Love Em'

The best running shoe I've ever worn

This shoe is the perfect blend of plush cushioning and good support. The materials are top of the line and the technology is unmatched. I don't want to take them off my feet.

5 Questions

How is the cushioning of Transcend 6 when compared with Glycerin 16/17?

2019/03/25 undisclosed Lee

The cushion level is the same. They all feature a DNA Loft midsole. Thank you!

Are these same as Glycerin 17 but for guide rails?

2019/03/03 NYC Eduardo

Yes, you can think of the Transcend 6 as the support version of the Glycerin.

Do the Brooks Transcend 6 come in a Wide option?

2019/02/23 Omaha, NE Transcend 6 in Wide

The Transcend 6 is only available in normal width.

These or the GTS 19 for a foot with no arch that over pronates?

2019/01/09 Baltimore, MD Ty

They both correct pronation and are designed for flat-med arches. The Transcend has more cushioning.

Compared to the Ghost 11, which by the way are my favorite running shoe to this date, how will/do they compare to them. I love my Ghosts and I am already excited to find the next best shoe once these bad boys wear out.

2019/01/08 Wyoming EvanPRun

The Transcend 6 is the support version of the Glycerin. They both offer more cushion than the Ghost.
