What’s New

  1. The TrailTack Rubber outsole allows for increased traction on wet and dry surfaces.
  2. The full internal saddle system gives you a close-to-foot fit.
  3. The new Cordura Mud Guard protects from debris, while allowing water in and out.

Benefits

SUV-Like Stability

SUV-Like Stability

The updated Pivot Post system works like a stabilizing suspension system, connecting with uneven ground underfoot to keep your foot level from landing to push-off.

Lighter Than Ever

Lighter Than Ever

A more streamlined design and updated outsole shaves weight, while improved flexibility helps you move naturally over mixed terrain.

Rugged Traction

Rugged Traction

The TrailTack rubber outsole offers extra traction on both wet and dry surfaces, inspiring you to explore farther, higher or faster.

BioMoGo DNA midsole cushioning dynamically adapts to your stride.

The Cordura Mud Guard protects against mud and other trail debris while still allowing drainage for all-day comfort.

The GORE-TEX® version has a waterproof, breathable upper. A lace guard keeps laces secure and out of the way. A back gaiter tab with new front gaiter connection point.

Good, but different than previous models

I do mostly trail running and have found the Cascadia to be great here in northern VT. The newest one has the same mesh front as the Pure Grit and less stability on side hills than the older models. Still a good shoe, but the older ones are a better choice in my opinion.

Job Well Done!

Initially the new model felt a little too snug compared to the roominess in the toebox of the 13 and was a little worried. I went for a short 8 miler and didn't have any bad rubbing or anything. The next time I put them on, they seemed to feel a bit better. I had a little more heel slide than in previous models, but I tied them a bit differently (I think it might be called the runners loop?)…

I had a little more heel slide than in previous models, but I tied them a bit differently (I think it might be called the runners loop?) and that solved my problem there. Overall they feel great, the decrease in drop wasn't a factor for me. In fact about a week and two training runs after receiving them I ran the Broken Arrow 52k and they kept my feet in great shape...dry and all!! Looking forward to my next purchase. I have the GTX and non-GTX and both are good and I enjoy the improvements so far!! Now let's see how they hold up for another couple hundred miles or so! Great job! Read More

Great shoes

These are comfortable with good gripping outsoles. Perfect for day hikes and maybe even longer ones.

I normally wear Adrenaline in the narrow width, size 13. I want to grab a pair of the new Cascadia 14 GTX, but I have narrow feet and I'm worried they may run a bit wide? Thanks

The difference in width between normal (D) and narrow (B) is about 1/4 inch. If they do not work you can always return them.…
