Best trail shoes ever

I purchased my Brooks Cascadia 13's a year ago when I was in North Carolina hiking because I was having issues rolling my ankle and feeling very unstable in my regular running shoes. I purchased them in Franklin at Outdoor 76 from Rob and it was not only a great investment but the best shoe I've ever owned. I am currently starting to plan a hike through on the AT and this will be the shoe that…

Another great Cascadia!

I've been running in Cascadia's for years and this model does not disappoint. Excellent trail feel while still offering good protection. Only negative is the laces are a little "slippery." I don't typically use the last lace hole, but find it helps hold these in place for the final knot. Small issue.

Almost the perfect shoe!

These shoes are very comfy, have great trail feel, and have been very durable. They are a fantastic shoe for Sedona (desert mountain) type area. I put 20-30 miles on these shoes over 5 days in Arizona. They performed flawlessly with zero slipping and great comfort. However, when I comes to the muddy trails of northeast Ohio these shoes tend to slip. Especially when you are into your heels on…

Especially when you are into your heels on descents. They are not terrible, but you will slip in muddy areas, or wet wood type terrain. My saucony exodus shoes do not slip in this at all. To be fair they are 2 different shoes. Brooks if your are listening make these things just a little grippier. Overall fantastic shoes and you cannot go wrong. Read More

Since I started trail running I've always used the Adrenaline ASR and upgrade on a regular basis and I'm due for a new pair. My road shoes have always been the Adrenaline's as well. Since you aren't making a support trail shoe will the cascadia give me the same support?

Do these Cascadia 13's run small? I usually wear a 11.5 or 12 in trail shoes. Thanks

We recommend going up .5 from your normal shoes size.

I run through water quite often so I'm wondering how the drainage is on the normal caldera 13.
