Ravenna

I have used Ravenna for two years now, I love the shoe. Definitely helps with my feet and legs on long distance run. The only thing I would change about this shoe is the more color options. I don't think the colors are very flattering. If I am spending the money on a good pair of shoe. I would love to pick from more color options since I am going to run in these shoes for several months and…

Best Looking Shoe Ever and Great Fit, But...

Overall, I love my new Ravennas, which I purchased in the turquoise color. I've had them about a month now and run in them about 10-12 times. Overall, I love my new Ravennas, which I purchased in the turquoise color. I've had them about a month now and run in them about 10-12 times. The uppers are very comfortable and, most important to me, they do not put pressure on the bunion on my right foot, which can be a problem with running shoes. They fit my foot nicely, my toes have the right amount of room and my heels do not slip out of the shoe. My feet stay the right temperature and I like the shape of the bottoms -- they propel me forward a bit, which is nice. On top of that, they are the cutest running shoes I've ever owned! The colors are amazing and they look so sophisticated and stylish. These are definitely the best-fitting Ravennas that I've had in many years. My one "but" is that the bottoms feel as if they could use more shock absorption. When I run, I really feel the smack of the ground in these and my feet feel a bit sore and tired afterward. They almost have that barefoot running feel, which I really do not want. I like cushion! I'm considering buying an additional insole for them but I shouldn't have to. When I've had Ravennas many times in the past, this was never an issue. Right now, the insoles I'm using are my custom-made orthotics, which are far superior to the insoles that come in the shoes, but I tried using both (I can't run without my orthotics) and the shoes just a little too tight. As is, I'm wearing an 8 1/2 when I wear a 7 1/2 in regular shoes, so I don't want to have to buy a size larger -- this size fits for running. I hope that for the next iteration, they retain the fit and amazing style and colors but infuse the soles with a little more shock absorption. That would truly make these the best shoes ever! I usually run 3 times a week, about 11 miles total. I run on sidewalks mainly but also on streets and grass when possible. Read More

Stylish, Gets the Job Done

When I first got these shoes, I was surprised that I liked the pattern so much. I've been running in Ravennas since model 6, so I have usually gotten them out of utility, not for style. However, I do think compared to other models, my inserts don't fit as comfortably in them and they feel like they have less bounce/ are wearing out slightly faster. The things unique to the old models are still…

However, I do think compared to other models, my inserts don't fit as comfortably in them and they feel like they have less bounce/ are wearing out slightly faster. The things unique to the old models are still true- breathable, narrow, comfortable, and I will keep wearing this style of shoe well into the future. Read More

Awesome shoes

Love these shoes and have had many pairs. I typically wear an 8.5 in other brands, and wear 8 in these, so size down a big. Overall great, especially if you need extra support.

Love the Ravenna 10

I am a nurse who wear these shoes for10 hour shifts. They are supportive and keep my legs energized throughout the shift. I have a had a knee replacement and I appreciate that they feel very light weight. I will continue to purchase these and prefer blues and teals to match the navy uniforms!

When will size 8 for color 376 be available again?

2019/07/01 Presque Isle, Maine Jenna

Hi! It looks like we are getting this color restock around the first week of August ! Thanks !

If I use a size 7 what would you recommend to purchase. ? I have heard to get a 1/2 larger since I will be training for long runs. Also is this a good shoe if I have bad knees.

2019/06/24 California Joana

Hi! We always recommend to go 1/2 size up from your casual shoe. Thanks!

I usually wear medium width in shoes, but now my bunions are bothering me. Do you suggest a wide width or a medium.

Hi. I would suggest you to try a wide width. Thank you !

Hi. Here is some shoe care information for you! We recommend following these directions to keep your shoes looking and performing their best. 1. Remove the internal liner and hand wash the shoes in warm water with mild soap. Make sure not to submerge or soak the shoes in water. We do not recommend using a washer or dryer machine for cleaning our shoes, as they can be too aggressive and cause the shoes to stretch or warp compromising the materials and performance of the shoe. 2. Stuff your shoes with newsprint (plain if you have it) and allow them to air dry. When they are all dried out, you can reinsert the liner and hit the road again Read More
