I would buy Neuro again and agai

I own 3 pairs of the Brooks Neuro and want to buy another in black but a 9.5 is no longer available in the Neuro. I like the odd look of the Neuro 1 I do not like the look of the Neuro 2 as much. Please, please do NOT discontinue the Neuro 1.

I would not buy again

I didn't expect the shoe to have a lot of cushion, but this shoe feels like it has no cushion. The tongue of the shoe cut my skin during a half marathon. #reviewsweeps

Not for Me

I have always worn the PureFlows and love them but I've had an issue with the last 4 pairs tearing through the mesh so I thought I would give something else a try. With the Neuros on sale, I took a gamble. I ordered the size I wear in the Flows but the Neuro fit much larger, which is probably why they also felt so uncomfortable. With the Neuros on sale, I took a gamble. I ordered the size I wear in the Flows but the Neuro fit much larger, which is probably why they also felt so uncomfortable. The shoe bent in a weird place on my foot and they felt cheap and plastic when I laced them up tight. Brooks has an amazing return policy and you make it so easy that I don't stress too much about taking risks on new shoes. I popped them back in the mail, got my refund, and ordered some Ghosts, which I love. #ReviewSweeps Read More

I love these shoes!

I just had knee replacement. My doctor advised me to get good shoes so my daughter in law recommended these. They are super comfortable and absolutely I'd buy them again! The price was great too!

All of the running sneakers are beautiful however I need a walking shoe for fast paced walking outdoors which is my exercise daily. Can you recommend a shoe? I looked at the walking shoes you have an do not want the plain colors I want vibrant color sneakers. Can you use a running shoe for walking? I also have a bad back and knee...thank you.

You can certainly use a running shoe for walking, but it will degrade faster due to constant pressure on the shoe. We wouldn't necessarily recommend the Nuero as a walking shoe. If you'd like something with ample amounts of cushion we recommend the Glycerin or the Transcend depending on if you pronate or supinate. Read More

How does this shoe fit? Is it a wide fit or very narrow?

The Neuro fits pretty moderately in terms of width, so it should feel pretty standard!

How much cushion do these offer? I'm looking for a super responsive shoe for my races, but I have been injured and am prone to shin splints so I needs some cushion as well.

There is a low level amount of cushion in this shoe. It is in the connect category. If you're looking for a super responsive shoe with good cushion we recommend the Launch. http://www.brooksrunning.com/en_us/brooks-launch-4-womens-running-shoes/120234.html Read More

Hi- is this pair of Brooks' sneakers most similar to the previous Connect and/or PureFlow models that Brooks produced? I am disappointed that Brooks stopped production of both of those lines. They are by far my favorite and most comfortable to run in- even with the slight variations in the different editions. I have been trying to find a suitable replacement ever since! Thank you!

We would suggest checking out the PureFlow 5, Nuero or Hyperion as some options!
