If they were made in Wide, they would be perfect

I don't know Brooks won't offer this shoe in wide. It's my favorite trail shoe. The drop is perfect (4mm) and lots of cushioning but the toe box is way too narrow. I am a female and had to order a men's size and if I wear very thin socks it's comfortable. Otherwise my toes are squished. Please make the next generation in wide!

Best shoe I've ran in!

I use this shoe for a mix of trail and road and they hold up great on both. A ton of cushion for road impact but not too much where it's slowing me down. I have done tempo work outs on the track and was able to use these in speed work as well. Training 6 days a week and running twice a day, these shoes have held up great. I have ran in a ton of other brands and always find myself back to brooks.…

Recommend for beginners and veterans of the sport. Read More

Great shoe- how about some understated colors?

Great shoes. The only issue is that I want to wear them all the time and they're not very attractive. Sure camo is cool on the trail, but how about something sleek looking like the pure grit or cadence comes? That would be much appreciated. And please don't change anything else!

"Best Training Trail Shoe" Minor design flaws.

Still the most comfortable training trail shoe out there. Durable, with great traction. The toe box is snug, but roomy enough for compression flexing and swelling on long runs. Still the most comfortable training trail shoe out there. Durable, with great traction. The toe box is snug, but roomy enough for compression flexing and swelling on long runs. Not great on concrete or pavement, but shine in the dirt. Minimal foot fatigue. Couple minor issues: As in their previous model, this shoe has a tendency to release the heel on lateral sloping, causing your ankle to feel like its going to "taco". This issue is completely solved by using a "runner's tie" on the laces. Unfortunately the laces that come with the shoe are too short to accomplish a decent runner's tie. You'll need 54" or 56" laces. Another minor flaw is the flat laces with the slotted eyelets. The eyelets tend to lock the laces. This causes the laces to lock in place, failing to adjust tension evenly during the run. Get yourself some 54" round laces, perform a "runner's tie" and you'll have one of the best trail shoes on the planet. For Brooks, if your going to use slits, instead of round holes for the eyelets, don't slant the eyelets! It causes the laces to lock, especially with flat laces. Read More

Very satisfied, would be perfect if shoe was made wider

Pretty much happy with performance of shoe, while running or walking feels like I'm floating, which is what I expected, if this certain sho not made a bit wider, please make it!

What is that little black strap over the midfoot? Any changes to the midsole in terms of flexibility?

2019/01/02 Vermont Chris

The strap is a lace garage that keeps your laces secure and out of the way. The flexibility will be the same.

Are there any other colors available then Green and when will it be available?

2018/12/25 Grand Rapids, MI Vishal

There will be more colors avalble in June 2019.
