    Great lightweight windbreaker

Great windbreaker you can stuff into its own pocket and strap to your arm when you don't to lug a bulky jacket.

    This is the perfect jacket.

My husband loves this jacket. We live in a hot climate where we get monsoon rains so our outerware needs to be superlight but provide some protection.

    Good with one exception

Missing a hood for added protection if needed. would have been 4-5 stars otherwise

    Not bad....

Bought this at my local TC Running Co. yesterday and immediately took it out for 8 miles on a pretty rainy afternoon. I didn't expect to stay dry, so when I didn't I wasn't too disappointed. The jacket did a fairly good job of keeping the rain off me however the seams on the arms leaked a decent amount. I could feel water pooling a bit near my wrists. While I still got wet, the windproofing did a fairly good job of keeping me warm. And being wet due to mostly sweat and minimal rain is a lot better than being soaked in a cold rain on a windy day.

    Impressed so far.

Very comforable fit. I've used it in the morning biking to work in the cool fall temps and it works well to stop the chilling effects of the cool passing air/breeze. I put it on after a running race once by core temperature came back down to normal on a cool day. This is all I added and was very comfortable. I've tucked it into my back pocket for casual wear when I wasn't sure of the temperatures. The 'arm strap' seems a bit gimmicky and unnecessary for a jacket that packs so small and is so light. I cut mine out of the jacket to reduce weight and bulk. Seems like a poor decision to create such a light and packable jacket then add a thick strap for a relatively minor convenience at the cost of comparatively significant weight and bulk gain. I considered cutting out the draw chord at the waist as well but decided to leave it for a year to see if I use it or not. I haven't used it as rain gear yet, so I can't comment on its waterproof capabilities. I would never use it for rain protection in aerobic activity because I would just get soaked in sweat instead. There's just no such thing as running rain gear, so don't expect this jacket to be that. Overall great product. I am curious what the weight is though. It is not noted on the website.

    Really waterproof

My dad has one of these jackets for running and suggested I wear it as I was cycling to the store one day during a light drizzle. By the time I was half way there I was caught in a very heavy rainfall. When I got to the store my pants and hair and everything else I had on me were soaked through, but the jacket dried in a minute and my shirt underneath was completely dry. I was pleasantly surprised so I bought my own and took it with me to the lake where I was going to do some sailing for the week. I wore this jacket over top of an Eddie Bauer turtleneck sweater while I was sailing, and again my shorts and hat were soaked by the end of each day but this jacket kept my sweater dry with the exception of a little wetness on the turtleneck and the wrist cuffs. This time I was very surprised. I expected it to keep me dry during a rainy day, but what I didn't expect was to stay dry sailing in a rain storm. Great product and I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family as my father did with his.

    Sauna suit

Not going to use, wore once in a light rain while running, was soaked with sweat due to the jackets poor ventilation, also no hood, better off getting wet by rain.

    Great Jacket!

I really love this jacket. Even in a small, which is my true fit, I can wear a turtleneck underneath it for cold weather running. The jacket provides excellent wind and rain protection. I wore the jacket with just a turtleneck over it on a 6 mile run in 18 degree weather and 10-30 mph winds and felt great.
