Is the launch 9 a stability shoe with motion control ?

Hi Mary! The Launch 9 is a neutral shoe. For a stability option in the same style, we recommend the Launch GTS 9. The GTS stands for "Go-to-Support" and will provide support for overpronation - when the feet and/or ankles roll inward as you walk and/or run.

Which model has The most support?

Hi Anne! We design support models specifically for overpronation, which is when your feet and/or ankles roll inward as you run or walk. Our Max Support models are the Addiction GTS 15 and the Ariel/Beast '20. If you do not overpronate but still want the most stable shoe, we recommend the Dyad 11.

I am interested in the Launch 9, do I pick men or women's size?

Hi Maria! You can choose either men's or women's sizing in the Launch 9. The conversion in sizing for length is to go down 1.5 sizes when converting from women's to men's sizing. We recommend going by the description of the width (i.e. narrow, medium, wide, extra-wide) as opposed to the letter designation (i.e. 2A, B, D, 2E, 4E) when converting between men's and women's sizing. A men's medium (D) width should fit the same as a women's medium (B) width. For example, a men's size 9D is equivalent to a women's size 10.5B.

For the gts stability shoe, how much of the stability is in the insole?

Hi Katie! The footbed and insoles of all of our shoes, including the Launch 9, have the same arch height and arch support. Our shoe styles in our inventory are split into 2 sections, Neutral and Support. The support in running shoes is different than the support of insoles or orthotics. Our Support styles include our GuideRails technology, which supports your whole body in its natural stride while keeping excess movement in check. Insoles or orthotics give you support directly under the arch. Our sock-liners are removable so that you can input your own insole or orthotic to achieve personalized arch support.

Are Wide Widths simply not made or not available on the Print Pattern models of the Launch 9's?

Hi Hinnie! The Launch 9 is available in a Wide Width only in color 060-Black/Ebony/Purple.

I am just a walker and I love your shoes. I usually wear a 10.5 but I have to have a WIDE . Can you tell me a style that is available in WIDE?

Hi Barbara! The color 067 is available in a Wide width for the Launch 9.

Do these come with guide rails?

Hi Judy! The Launch 9 is a Neutral style and does not come with GuideRails. If you are looking for the Launch style with GuideRails, we recommend the Launch GTS 9.

Hi Lauren! We recommend removing the internal liner and hand wash the shoes in warm water with mild soap or using a shoe cleaner spray. Make sure not to submerge or soak the shoes in water. We do not recommend using a washer or dryer machine for cleaning our shoes, as they can be too aggressive and cause the shoes to stretch or warp compromising the materials and performance of the shoe.

Is this a waterproof shoe or is it canvas?

HI Brenda! The Launch 9 is not waterproof, the mesh upper allows for breathability to keep your foot cool while running.

Best for high arches?

Hi Sarah! The Launch 9 is able to fit many types of arch profiles including high arches. The sockliners in the Launch 9 are removable if you need to insert your own insole for a personalized arch fit and support.

A question answered on March 4 says the midsole drop is 10mm but the description says 4. Which is it?

Hi Ana! The Launch 9 has a midsole drop of 10mm. We're working to update the proper midsole drop under the Spec section.

Where is the heel to toe drop listed for your shoes?
