what is the laces' length?

Hi Lance! The laces for the Hyperion Max will vary in length depending on the size of the shoes. The men's Hyperion Max features laces that measure approximately 46 to 52 inches.

Is this a good shoe for 1/2 marathons ?

Hi Mark! The Hyperion Max will work well for many distances, including half marathons. It is designed to be an up-tempo speed shoe great for racing and speed workouts. We recommend using it on your speed days and for races and alternating with another model for easy days.

Hi Tom! When used for their intended purpose, performance running shoes, including the Hyperion Max, have an expected lifespan of about 300-500 miles with regular use. When used as a daily walking shoe rather than specifically for running, the consistent sustained pressure to the mesh and cushioning components can cause the materials to degrade quicker. We recommend regular rotation of a few pairs of good shoes to ensure the highest level of performance.

Hi Kurt! The Hyperion Max does not contain a carbon fiber plate. We recommend the Hyperion Elite 3 for a carbon-plated option.
