Can't Go Wrong with the Chaser

    2017/04/13 | Rawlins, WY |

This is my second pair of chaser shorts and I absolutely love them. They are comfortable and flattering. Perfect for everyday wear and on race day. The phone pocket in the waistband doesn't quite hold an iPhone 6, it's really snug and you definitely can't have a case on your phone. Other than that, awesome shorts!

    Yes, I would recommend this!

    Love the flat waist band

    2017/03/24 | Phoenix |

I'm 5'8, 138lbs (to 142 at times). Size medium fits great. These have a well-constructed, flat waist band that does not rub or chafe. The material is soft and the 5-inch length feels athletic and stylish (not too matronly or obscenely short). Flipbelt stays securely in place while wearing.

    Yes, I would recommend this!

Really good short for running, no restrictions of movement. Sturdy inside liner.

For me this is the perfect running short!

    2017/03/11 | Charleston, SC |

Very comfortable, perfect length so it doesn't ride up. Own 3 pair and plan on owning more!

    Perfect fit and function

    2017/02/11 | Asheville NC |

5'6" 130 lbs. size medium fits comfortably loose. Recreational runner 12-16 miles per week. Most comfortable shorts I've ever worn. I was confused by other reviews about fit but I'm a size 4 pant and the medium is perfect. I didn't even feel like I was wearing shorts. Love!

    For young bodies

    2016/10/01 | West Virginia |

As a woman over the age of 60, I found this style to not fit my paunchy stomach at all. It seems to be made for someone in their 20s who has not had any children or grown older. I keep having to pull it up in the waist, and then it just goes back down. I understand that most likely most of your clients can wear this quite comfortably, but I wish you would offer something that is not low-rise. There are many of us who are blessed with bodies that have experienced a lot of life, and we also would like clothing that fits our bodies.

    Need to buy another pair

    2016/09/24 | Omaha, NE |

I love these shorts. Their side seam is perfect for running or the gym. They are long enough that my butt doesn't hang out, but short enough that they don't do the dreaded "awkward bunch up between legs."

    Yes, I would recommend this!

    Small

    2016/08/12 | Central Mass. |

I have worn MOVING COMFORT shorts for years and when I learned that Brooks had purchased the line I decided I would try the shorts. I have tried ordering the size that I used to wear in Moving Comfort. The re-design is very small and uncomfortable. Have since tried one size up and the shorts are still small and uncomfortable for someone who likes comfort. The waist has been dropped although the comfort band is still the same. The leg openings are smaller. Not for me! I use the product during a workout class generally.

Light weight feel doesn't make up for it riding up

    2016/08/08 | Winona, MN |

I was hoping to have found a lightweight, non-spandex short that would be long enough not to ride up and keep my legs from rubbing together, and these are not it. Maybe these would work if I didn't have thighs that touch when I run, but since I do, they just don't work. I'd use them for the gym but what makes them lighweight/breathable for running makes them bad for things like weight machines.

    Not a Flattering Cut

    2016/07/22 | Chicago |

I love Brooks and hate to write a negative review, but I feel compelled to let people know that despite the 5" inseam, these shorts are NOT flattering. The cut is way too high on the outer thighs and rides up on my legs. I normally wear a size 2/4 and I'm very fit, but I felt incredibly exposed and uncomfortable. This kind of cut is normally seen on 2" inseams (i.e., racing shorts) and works best only if you have rail thin legs, otherwise I would not recommend it.
