Strong yet lightweight, the external heel counter cradles your heel, reducing excess heel rotation.

Super Soft Cushioning

Super DNA midsole cushioning dynamically adapts to your stride, giving you a super soft feel underfoot.

Full-Body Alignment

A rounded heel provides better alignment, minimizing stress on joints.

Seamless Fit

The 3D Fit Print applies strategic stretch and structure for an impeccable fit.

Highly recommended for those who need a support shoe.

Highly recommended for those with a dropped navicular or collapsed arch. Very supportive, protects the tibialis posterior from painful overstretch trauma, works great for both extensive walking and running.

They Keep Getting Better

I switched from Ravenna to the Transcend 3 in 2016. Every year they feel better. The Transcend 5 is amazing. I walk around 4 miles 6 days a week,I walk in 5K's and I take care of my elderly mother. I am on my feet all the time. The Transcend is the only sneaker I'll wear. I do wish there were more colors. I buy about 5 pairs a year and it would be nice to have a bigger selection of…

Everything you could want in a running/walking shoe

Like extra padding around ankle. Heel never slips. Stretch laces are great! Stays tied and tight. Sturdy but light weight. Overall the best. 5 star rating.

Love Transcends, wish we were given more color options!

I run 5-14 miles 5 days a week, plus Orange Theory classes 1-2 time a week. I switched to Transcends after wearing Glycerins for years and was amazed at the difference. I've had IT Band issues and these helped tremendously! My only complaint is that I feel like these are the forgotten shoes of Brooks... never more than 2 or 3 color options and there are never new color releases throughout the…

Please make more colors! I buy multiple pairs throughout the year and hate buying the same color over and over again. Read More

Hi! I hope this message finds you well! How does the Transend compare to the Glycerin? That is the shoe I was recommended and have been wearing for years. This shoe really looks cool, but I'm not sure if it would support my foot in the same way. Take care, Candace

Earlier I asked this same question, but referenced the wrong shoe. So here is the revised question. I do overpronate mildly. I've always worn adrenaline GTS, but haven't ran over a year due to a a meniscus tear surgery. Now I'm looking for more cushion. How does the transcend compare to the ariel? What would have the most support and cushion

Hi Stacy, The Glycerin is a neutral shoe and the Transcend/Ariel are both support shoes. Support shoes help with pronation which neutral shoes do not. As far as "support" and cushion goes the Ariel would have more support and cushion. -Brooks Running Read More

Is there a removable sole to accommodate orthotics? I have pronation.

2018/03/09 ME Kathryn

All Brooks Models have removable insoles. We recommend the Dyad 9 for custom orthodontics. Brooks Running

I normally wear the Adrenalines. I've worn them from the 13s up to the 16s and am trying to decide whether to get the 17s or get the Transcend 5! The reviews are great so I was hoping this shoe was pretty comparable to my Adrenalines. I love my Adrenalines and they are the only shoes that have helped me over the years in running and in half marathons. I also run on both the treadmill and the road. Thanks!
