Love These Shoes!!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever run in! First time my feet don't hurt afterwards. I can't wait to put more miles on these and can't wait for my next pair!

Perfect for Crosstraining.

As a personal trainer and group fitness trainer, I have found these to be the BEST shoes to cross over with. The low heel is perfect, the extra stability helps w lateral movements and they are so comfortable. I've worn these for years and if I try to go to another, I always come back. I'd only ask for them to be cuter. But beggars can't be choosers here. They feel great on my feet and I recommend…

Runs 1/2 size small, but overall great light-duty trail shoe

I'm a PureCadence 7 wearer for road runs and absolutely love it, so when looking for a trail shoe, I tried to find the most similar shoe. The PureGrit doesn't fit exactly like PureCadence, but it's very close! I found this ran 1/2 size small as compared to my PureCadence 7 which was very true-to-size. I wish I had a bit more room in the toe, and might exchange for a 1/2 size up (I'd like to get a couple more long runs in them to make that determination). Why I like this shoe: The PureGrit 7 is the first trail shoe I've tried that feels like a minimalist shoe. No, you're not going to feel every rock, but you feel so much closer to the ground in these with the 4mm heel drop. The traction is just enough to give you grip on light terrain, although I think you'd want a little more on technical trails (they're perfect for the dirt trails I run). The inner feels almost as if you wouldn't need socks, although I'd suggest wearing socks on a trail run. They're just a very comfortable shoe that molds to your foot. One suggestion is to size up 1/2 size. There is a rubbery coating on the end of the toe for durability and my foot sometimes shifts forward and makes my toes bump close to this area. I feel like it affects how my toes splay out. Again, it's going to take a few runs to decide if I want to bump up 1/2 size, but if I were to order again, I wouldn't hesitate and would get 1/2 size up. What it's missing: while I love the offset lacing, these shoes are missing the upper hole if you want to lace your shoes differently (I always lace up with a runner's loop to lock my heel in place). I feel like sometimes my feet shift forward due to not being able to lock in. I've stopped and repositioned my foot and relaced my shoes, and that seems to temporarily solve the problem. Overall, if you're a PureCadence fan who loves feeling close to the ground, expect to love this shoe on trails, but size up 1/2 size! Read More

PureGrit

At first the shoes were a bit stiff then after wearing them around work for the day, they now feel very comfortable with running.

Good looking

I like the subdued color combo very much. I hoped I could go by the size of my other pair of Brooks but these feel a tad shorter. Other than that they are great.

Been wearing your glycerin sneakers and in the process of returning a pair, order number 03591447 due to the color ( not a white sneaker girl lol) Send the winter in a warm climate and found myself walking abut five miles a day on sidewalk surfaces ...but after stretching and wearing the Glycerin my plantar fasciitis acted up again..I did your shoe quiz and came up with two pure Cadence or Pure Grit7 can you recommend one the other ? Be well angela

Hello. Do you make any trail shoe in a woman's wide?

2019/04/05 Port Huron, Michigan Melissa Boyea

Unfortunately we do not. You could get a men's shoes in normal width and just go down 1.5 in size. Thank you!

Can the PureGrit 7s be used comfortably for road running also?

2019/02/02 Nevada Abby

Generally we do not recommend using a trail shoe on the roads as many of them will not offer the cushioning for a great road run.

Can you remove the insert?

2018/10/27 WV Monica

Yes, the insole are removable.
