Love this Shoe!

I have been running trails for many year. I have bounced around a lot with shoes. I have tried Altra, Hoka and other brands. I recently purchased a pair of Hoka Challenger and had the sole fall off quickly. I decided to give Brooks a try. I had run for Brooks after college but had gone away from them. I have a high instep/ wide foot and short toes. I normally wear a size 9. I ordered a size 9 2E and put about 100 miles in them. I felt the shoes were too long and I kept catching my toe on rocks and stumps. I felt the shoe was too long for me. I then ordered another pair in a size 8.5 2E. This size fit me much better and I have not stumbles or trip in the new size. I now have about 150 miles in this new pair/size and really like the shoe. I run technical trails with quite a bit of vertical. This shoe works well for me. Read More

Great shoe

The shoe seems to provide great tracktion on the trail. It fits comfortably and provides good support and padding. It's also relatively light for having a gortex lining. I'm looking forward to seeing how well the tracktion is, in the snow.

Comfortable shoe

This shoe needs a "cushioned" shoe string that does not come untied on its own.

Great lightweight trail shoe

The Cascadia is very light weight but has great cushioning. Reinforced rubber toe keeps socks dry on damp mornings. Great looking shoe, a new favorite!

I run through water quite often so I'm wondering how the drainage is on the normal caldera 13.

Hello, I have a pair of transcend now. I wonder which trail shoes that would fit me the best. :)

Hi! I would suggest the Caldera 2! It has great cushion like the Transcend!
