Nice trail running show

If you trail run, this is a shoe for that. Very durable with some added comfort. Do not recommend for road running. Trail or mountain running only.

Brooks delivers again

I use the Cascadia 13 primarily for trail running, but sometimes find myself wanting their support and width when hiking or walking around. I've worn the Pure Grit 3, the Cascadia 12 with decent success, but I always blew out the shoes because of my wide feet. This is the first trail shoe that Brooks has made that fits my foot and gives me the protection and durability I love. I have noticed that…

I've worn the Pure Grit 3, the Cascadia 12 with decent success, but I always blew out the shoes because of my wide feet. This is the first trail shoe that Brooks has made that fits my foot and gives me the protection and durability I love. I have noticed that because I run with a mid-foot strike some of the tread has sheared off rather than worn down, but I can't argue with how good my body feels when I run in these. I wish Brooks would make a wide variation of the Pure Grit. Read More

Great outdoor workout shoe!!!

During my outdoor park workouts I was having a hard time getting traction with my "regular" running shoes. Ordered a pair of Cascadias and haven't looked back since. Great shoe.

Like running on clouds

While out in Colorado I was looking for a nice trail running shoe that had better protection than my Salomon Speed Cross 3's which I use more for OCR running. Tried on Hoka's, La Sportiva, Merrel and Salomon's trail running version. Then I slipped these shoes on and they felt like I had been wearing them for months. They did so well I did a couple of hikes in them then ran in a 10k trail run…

Tried on Hoka's, La Sportiva, Merrel and Salomon's trail running version. Then I slipped these shoes on and they felt like I had been wearing them for months. They did so well I did a couple of hikes in them then ran in a 10k trail run without any issues. They have a lot more sole protection against pointy rocks and just enough tread to keep you from slipping. Need to buy about 5 pairs of these so if they ever change them I still have this model. I should say that I also run in the Brooks Ghost when doing pavement so not suprised the brand was just right for me. Read More
