Great for Wide Feet

Before I was running in a Glycerin 11 2E, but in the Bedlam the 11 in normal D width fits great. The Glycerins always felt a bit clunky, but I ran injury-free in them - the Bedlams are feeling great after the first few runs. They definitely feel springier and more responsive, I also use gel soft sol inserts. The asymmetric tongue hasn't bothered me. No heal slip, although I prefer a little…

No heal slip, although I prefer a little more material above the heal if I'm nitpicking. The Levitate 2 was too narrow. All in all, really loving this shoe and bought 3 pairs. Read More

Great shoes!

Perfect shoes for me! For training I typically use the Adrenalin but these have become my racing shoes. They seem to run a half size larger than all my other brooks shoes. Got them exchanged without issues.

On the fence but think I am really going to like them!

I just recently purchased the Bedlam, I am giving them a 5 because I think I am really going to like them but not totally sold yet and not convinced they are the best shoe for me but the knowledgeable person at the shoe store convinced me to try them. I am mostly a neutral shoe person normally wearing Glycerin's or Gel-Nimbus but have worn Adrenaline GTS and Gel Kayano. Jokingly speaking this…

Jokingly speaking this shoe is evil in a good way, I love the energy return these shoes provide. First run in them was a 6-mile mid-week in which I beat my normal pace by 24 SPM, OK great on a 6-mile run not too big of a deal. Second run was a 15-mile run, tried to hold back and worked good for the first mile or so but found my pace increasing again which I paid for in the last few miles but again notched a personal best going from 9:54/M to 9:48/M. So, they are fast and that is something I need to adapt to but that is a great problem to have and very pleased that my second run in them was 15 miles with no hot spots from the new tongue/lace configuration or the ankle wrap changes. My last pair was Asics Gel Nimbus 19 with 350+ miles so yes these feel amazing compared to them and my body seems to like them with no serious aches or pains. The only reason I am still on the fence is they do seem to be heavy and stiff. Comparing manufacturers specs, the weight of the Bedlams and Gel Nimbus 19's is identical. So, I am thinking the heavier feel could be caused by the increase in pace I am getting with them but will post more after a several more miles. The reason my last pair were Asics is because after 4 pair of Glycerin's the last few pair did not fair well but do prefer Brooks greatly over the Asics so hoping these give me many good miles. Great shoes, my husband loves them.

Walking

Florida

I LOVE this shoe. Nothing more to say.

I use this for running as well as at work, since I have to cover a lot of distance (usualy anywhere between 5 -10 miles of walking) I needed something that would keep me comfortable for long periods of walking. This shoe has completely taken care of me.
